I saw the trailer, but I wasn't too interested. It looks like Contra with some perspective changes thrown in to take advantage of the 3D engine, and I was never a huge Contra fan.

Looked like a cool game to me, I've always liked the 2D adventure games. Plus being on XBLA it'll probably only be $20 max, but more like $10-15

The thing that makes me very hyped for it (of course there also the "it looks amazing" part) is Bleszinski saying that their goal for Shadow Complex is for it to be for XBLA what Gears was for the 360.
In other words, to be a kick ass game, that makes the XBLA to be seen as a platform inside a platform, and not some fun thing to pass the time until a retail game comes around.
Which, imo, is great and i hope they accomplish that.

Yeah, I'm starting to appreciate it on that level. I wasn't too excited for it at first but it's been growing on me.

Shadow Complex is made by Chair (who made Undertow, which I also really liked) using the Unreal engine. Looks promising.

Thats cool. I was just reading the other day that the game is based off the writings of Orson Scott Card. So its some weird convergence of comic nerds and games.
