Shanghai air pollution hits record highs

I know there are some cities in America that are bad, but my God this is absolutely insane. Is there anything to be done or are they going to just keep going on with their lives until this **** kills them all.

China has an erratic and inconsistent record with trying to improve their pollution levels. It seems like they want to improve health quality on some level but on another they completely don't give a ****.

What do they do with livestock that has to go through this crap that then gets killed and shipped across the country/world for food. There has to be some health concerns regarding crops/meat distribution.

Too many people focused on attacking America as if we're the worst country when it comes to pollution always seem to ignore China...

I'm getting sick of these BS "spare the air days". It's freezing in the CA Bay Area lately(I know, I know, to those in the midwest and east coast this is probably nothing)and a lot of these nights you're not allowed to make a fire.
