Hope to see more of her in a decent role in either movies.

I wouldn't count on it, tbh. I could see a cameo or small support role.

So, there's a Sharon Carter in Infinity War thread before a Cap or Iron Man one? What is the world coming to?

There will be three times as many characters in Infinity War. I doubt we'll see her, safe for a small cameo.

Realistically, that's all I can hope for in the very least and a bonus badass fight sequence that's longer than 5 secs.

:hehe: You're free to create their own threads.

This thread is going to turn into a massive *****fest in the coming months. My popcorn is ready.

I just wanna say one thing. She's gonna be in one of the part. Regardless, count on it. No offense to anyone who doesn't want her too. It's just kinda, to expect y'know?

That's the last post I'm making in this thread until IW begins production.

Well there's no two parts, so a surprise appearance from Sharon/EVC in IW will make me very happy, but then again she didn't appear in AoU which she should've to help establish her and her/Steve.

I wish they drop her completely. No one was really very glad to see this relationship in CW (and tbh, there wasn't much of actual relationship anyway), even Carter's fans, and there isn't really any time in IW for this either.
It was a mistake from the start.

There is a rumor that Hayley Atwell will be in IW. That would make an appearance by Sharon awkward and possibly much less likely, if true.

Hmmm, I wonder how that would play out.
Anyway, her character is relatively forgettable.
All she needs is a quick cameo.

That report came from an anonymous source on 4chan, so I'm gonna take the shocking leap and say it's probably made up.

It wouldn't surprise me. Thanos could bring her or Quicksilver back with the Soul Stone as a bribe to get Cap or Scarlet Witch to stand down.

Sure. It could happen. Anything could happen. The point is, you should probably hold out for a better source than an anonymous leaker who posted on a site infamous for trolls pulling stuff out of their butts and presenting it as news.

Anyone remember that leaked Civil War script outline on 4chan? The one where Spider-Man was a main character, Baron Zemo gets into a sword vs. shield fight with Cap, and Crossbones kills Clint's family? That all definitely happened in the movie.

I remember Russos themselves saying something about Peggy in IW to fans on some comic-con. But I don't think it might be about her and Steve. Steve was supposed to let her go in TWS. His vision in AoU suggests he craves war instead of her, so it's not like Peggy can be much of the weakness for Steve now, so Thanos could use her against him.

They didn't care about the proximity of Peggy's funeral to making out session, I doubt they would think about awkwardness here. That's not the problem anymore. The problem is that Sharon got only around 7 minutes in two Cap's movies. I doubt they are gonna pay her attention in the Avengers. And if they don't want to spend decent screentime to fix it, then it will be just the same mess it was in CW. Add to this, that Sharon not being in CIA anymore doesn't really have anything to do to be useful. So I don't see, where she could fit.

I don't want any of the Carters to be in IW. There's already like 20 Avengers in this movie and Peggy has certainly been seen enough IMO

Definitely NO PEGGY in IW, beep is DEAD. BUT YES PLEASE TO SHARON CARTER, STEVE'S ONE AND ONLY TRUE FEMALE EVERYTHING.

Yeah it wouldn't be a big loss if neither Carter is in it.

Dude, no need in such overtly fanboying. It's not a comic-books thread. Open your eyes, it's MCU, hello! :oldrazz:

Absolutely. But only in case they decide to drop Staron altogether. Otherwise it's in a dire need of development, screentime and fixing.

It was already horrendously rushed in Civil War, and Civil War didn't have nearly as many characters as Infinity War is gonna have. Wouldn't be surprised if they dropped the relationship altogether.

Sharon Carter dies off screen. While trying to be a spy, Sharon slips on a banana peel and falls to her death. :oldrazz:

I wouldn't be surprised if they put in the line: "Oh, btw, Sharon is now my girlfriend" with a brief cameo from her and that's all, but I'd be PISSED OFF. Because this really needs to be fixed, I'm not buying their relationship after CW. I would have been okay with it after TWS before CW, after all, Nat told Steve to call her two years ago, but not now after CW's mess. Steve, at least, should give some thoughts and frustrations that he's dating Peggy's niece, who ruined her whole career for him.

Why I have doubts is because I can't believe they weren't aware of how rushed it was, while doing CW. (Usually they know very well, what they are doing, otherwise Spidey and Panther wouldn't have got such a great success.) They were, and screentest audience wasn't very happy with it, hence the reshot scene. But still they did it, although they could wait with the kiss until IW and make it so much better by doing nothing. For what purpose to even start then? IDK, maybe they've used Sharon as a shameless plot device and inserted making out as a one-off fanservice. It's hard to say, but there definitely was a very specific unknown reason for such rushing.

Weren't you the one rooting for Sharon before CW?

All they did was kiss. There's no reason to believe they're in any kind of long term relationship.

Yeah, but many people think that Cap is not that kind of guy, who kisses a girl and then doesn't call her back. Although I don't actually know why people like to think so. He has never been an angel, he kissed a blonde in TFA, while being attracted to Peggy, and told Nat in TWS he had already kissed since 1945 without having anybody special.

And also there will be two years between CW and IW. If he once again doesn't get with her, it will be just a joke. In this case he couldn't care less. Like, she risked everything for him in CW, mind you.

I don't see what kind of role Sharon could play in a movie that is about Thanos destroying half of all life in the universe with his power glove. But than again we don't know how much of this movie will be taking place in outer space and how much will be taking place on earth.

A whole lot of people think that Steve Rogers shouldn't be the kind of guy who kisses his late love's niece days after her funeral. Not contacting Sharon while on the run from most of the world's governments is not only reasonable, given the circumstances, but also a way to pull back from an unsavory (budding) relationship. Very few fans would be disappointed if the writers and directors unceremoniously dropped Sharon and proceeded with Steve as a single man.

As for Sharon risking her career for Steve in CW, she is an adult who presumably chose to help him because she felt it was the right thing to do. She knew very well what she was getting into when she illegally gave over intel and stolen costumes and she did it anyway. If her real motivation was the desire to get into Captain Rogers' tight pants, that cheapens her as a character. Steve isn't obligated to give her a tumble just because of that unless it's going to be something close to a pity f#@& or payment for services rendered. Giving her a kiss when she was standing there looking so damn thirsty is more than enough compensation.
