Im more sure of my choices than I was before if that counts.

Have watched a few Shazam scenes multiple times where as since the second Captain Marvel viewing I have had no desire to revisit it.

This one's gonna be tough because neither were any good.

Captain Marvel was rushed. The screenplay was poor, especially what they gave Brie Larson to work with. That was compounded by the fact that her attempt to be stoic felt stiff as a board. It belonged in Phase 1.

I finally watched Shazam two weeks ago and frankly couldn't wait for it to end. Some of the humor early on was cute, but after a while it got repetitive, even downright irritating (like it was trying to be a PG Deadpool). The end sequence with the Marvel family was corny as hell, especially the 7 Deadly Sins. There were moments of really painful dialogue too (specifically by the Wizard). I'm still curious how they continue integrate this character in the DCU years down the road as the child actor continues to age in real life.

    CM, but not by much.

    Shazam!

Funny, since Infinity War, I've been enjoying the DCEU movies more than the MCU movies. That includes Endgame.

Yeah I am kind of the same, though for me I didn’t think much of Aquaman at first, grown to like it more on subsequent viewings though.

    Nah
Endgame completely blows Aquaman out the f***ing water
    pun fully intended

and other than that, there's only the subject of this thread, Shazam vs CM... on that, I give it to Shazam, just a little
but if Marvel gets a better director for CM2, I'm confident that series will improve

Just finished watching SHAZAM! right now, and I think it's the mildly better one of two good films.

I think Captain Marvel is the better of the two meh films. Wasn’t a fan of either of the actors playing the title characters.

Such a shame we couldn’t get Pratt as Shazam he would’ve been 100x better.

I have to say CM is standing up very well to repeat viewings for me, hopefully Shazam can do the same.

I dont think those movies are anything fantastic. Shazam was a bit better, becouse you cared for the main character.
