He inspired comic strips?
He had the first one?
Because Lichtensteins son 'challenged' him to draw Mickey Mouse as good as it was in the sons comic book...it lead to his first drawing using dots.
You named the challenge for the challenge...
It was told to Roy by someone who had no clue who he was.
"You're good, but Lichtenstein you ain't"
And it's "Ray".
Because Lichtenstein is hard to spell so 10 points for whoever spells it right.
This is really basic.
Bonus Answer 2:
Monster murdered Lichtenstein in his sleep.
Okay folks, I have all the entries I'm going to get. They've been sent to the judges. Check back tonight for results.
Because he's a famous cartoonist/pop artists type guy?
He put humor in his drawings.
I must say all of you did a good job. I didn't dislike any of them except for Bamfer's. Oh right he didn't send one in.
I gave you great hair.
Someone else made him bald though.
Yeah, I was very impressed with the work on this challenge. Very funny stuff guys and gal!
I took off 5 points for it not being in color. Total points anyone could get was 5.
I'm tired of this question... you're all sort of over-thinking it.
A: He made comic art into fine art.
Bonus Question No. 3:
Have you ever been caught between the moon and NYC?
Yes, I know its crazy, but its true. But when I got caught between the moon and NYC, the best that I could do was fall in love.
I made him bald to fit the strip idea...that and I was inspired by Mee's work on um...another site.
That one doesn't count!
Bonus question 3:
What's the longest running comic strip still in circulation today?
The Katzenjammer Kids, which has been running since 1897
You know you can say LSP.
1 pt for SM79!
