When it's time to shop, which do you like better: shopping online or actually going out to shop?

I do both. I see what I want online and then run into the shop to pick it up. That way I don't have to look around busy shops for ages and I can see the item up close before parting with money.

I like to shop out in regular shops, but actually buy the items online. There usually much cheaper.

I do most purchases online and I would prefer to just hop online to get it with the exception of a few things. I go to a physical comic book, video game, book, and music store. I'd just rather have those things in my hand the day I want them.

Outdoor shopping, so I know exactly what I am getting, know exactly how the money gets to the person, and have a receipt and place to return the thing should it be a piece of crap.

I like to do both. I'll shop out if I'm getting clothes or undecided on shoes, suits, jeans or other random clothing things like that. I'll usually shop online if I'm getting dvds, cds, video games or action figures that have been out for awhile. New stuff like that I'll buy in the stores.

damn, i was just about to make a thread like this

for the stuff i get for myself is to get them online

I do buy things online when I can't find them in stores or when they're cheaper, but when I want to actually go shopping I do it outdoors. For me, going to the mall is part of the fun.

I find myself doing more and more online shopping. Especially when I can get movies cheaper on Amazon.com then walking into a Best Buy most of the time.

It is nice to get out and be among the rest of society but I can't stand it when whatever store you're in is packed and people lose all common sense like parking their carts in the middle of the ****ing aisle instead of on the side.

i saw once where some idiot parked thier car in front of the entrance of Best Buy
i was like, REALLY?! REALLY?!

Clothes, accessories, etc- in person.

DVD's and most electronics- online

See, this is why you need the OTHER option.

I prefer shopping online for most things, but when it comes to clothing, you do need to check the fit and style as it looks on you, so that requires going to the store. When it comes to books, again, I like browsing the shelves, reading the blurbs on the back, checking out the cover art - easier to do in a store than online.

I prefer to shop online because it's fast. And I prefer to shop indoors than outdoors:word:

I go out to the stores. I'm impatient on waiting for my stuff. Cause I want it right now and don't have a chance of it being stole or lost in the mail.

Go to Amazon and see how much DVDs can be as compared to Walmart, primarily with new releases.

And I've never had an item lost or stolen that I had delivered to my house or work.

Even if I did, I'd be protected by my credit card if the place I ordered from didn't try and fix the problem.

I don't even really buy new dvds. So I'm just meh over it.

Like I said before. Its just me being impatient and having to wait a few extra days. I mean I gotta have it now!:yay:

Much prefer outdoor shopping

You know some places like Amazon, deliver it to you the day it's released.

JAL give me an example of a movie you just purchased used and how much it was?

That cost extrea to have it delivered same day.

I bought these 4 for 3.99 apiece. Not in the same day though.
Passengers
Rachel Getting Married
Brutal Massacre: A Comedy
Prom Night 2008 Unrated

I LOVE Amazon. I get all my dvds from there. I can wait a day or two for them to be shipped. I'm not that impatient.

I always find the price of shipping negates any savings I might have ordering stuff online, unless I want to wait a week for shipping. So I usually just go to the store, of course most of the time I can just visit the store I want to go to during lunch or on my way home. So happy Best Buy just opened a store in downtown Chicago, now I can just get any games or DVDs I want during lunch.

Passengers and Rachel Getting Married Used on Amazon are like $4.25 each on Amazon, with Brutal Massacre and Prom Night being $1.50 each. I'm guessing you save a little bit if you purchased the last 2 together and combined shipping.

And I never pegged you for an Anne Hathaway fan.

i got spiderman 3 on bluray for just $4, not too shabby for a crappy movie
