Should a Plastic Man movie be comedy, serious or something in between? I don't think you can do Plastic Man just as a comedy, because Plastic Man would mainly be just slap stick comedy, which wouldn't appeal to modern audiences, but shouldn't just be serious either, because comedy is a part of Plastic Man.

Iron Man was able to combine drama and comedy well, so perhaps Plastic Man can do the same. I think the villain would have to be serious, so I would suggest using some B-list DC crime lord, rather then say Dr. Dome.

A combination of both. Eel O'Brian's past and struggles with his nature lend themselves to some drama.

Comedy with some twisted dark humor and pathos.
Pretty much Jim Carrey is missing his calling to have played Eel O'Brian.

I agree. Steve Carell (or even Johnny Depp) would do a great job as well.

It should be similar to The Mask. But more violent and with a cruder sense of humour.

Definitely something in between. Sort of like Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead. Most of the zombie stuff was pretty legit, but it wasn't afraid to crack a joke.
