I wonder if any Avengers should show up or cameo in Carol's solo origin film? If they do which heroes could you see showing up or even making a cameo? If not explain why not?

Considering that her solo will take place between the Infinity Wars movies, I'm gonna be very surprised if this doesn't happen. As for who I think should show up, I think Rhodey would probably be the most logical choice.

Rhodey would be the obvious choice.

Rhodey. Anyone else and it feels forced. They share a commonality with their background in the Air Force. I generally don't like other heroes showing up in a hero's debut solo, but it was handled well in Ant-Man. War Machine is not too popular, so it would work out.

But with Rhodey showing up in her solo origin film I mean Rhodey is essentially a paraplegic I mean especially if you saw Civil War but since Tony is helping him to walk again who knows maybe Rhodey will be able to walk again in Carol's film

Dude, spoiler tags. Use them.

And regardless
that's a very easy fix. Just give him a new suit that compensates for his lack of leg usage.

Yeah, Rhodes is fine, as long as there's no romance between them. He's too old, so old in fact that he can't [BLACKOUT]even walk without braces[/BLACKOUT] anymore. :o

Black don't crack.

But more seriously I'd like to see War Machine show up to somehow tie things into Infinity War Part II.

Why does her solo have to take place between the two IW parts, storywise? If it's an origin story then it doesn't have to tie in with IW at all. Personally I want new people in her solo. Two scenes towards the end of the movie that have Kamala and Jessica Drew. I would be ok with Rhodey but considering how old the actor is they need to not make that a romance.

Rhodey is the unaminous choice but how about other Avengers such as Black Widow or Scarlet Witch or Captain America even

Correction, good black dont crack. Dude looked old in CW. Definitely cant pass for a 30 something.

Im fine with an Avenger or two popping up but it depends on the type of story and if it makes sense.

I think Rodie is a good bet early on the film(probably as Carol's mentor in the MCU version), but I have a feeling the film will go more towards a cosmic setting rather quickly(FARSCAPE anyone?), perhaps giving us a more serious take on the world we saw in Guardians(which could be a nice lead in to bringing the Guardians to Earth in IW2)... They're not superheroes, but I could actually see Glenn Close and John C. Reilly making appearances. I'm probably totally wrong on all of this(I usually am), so...

Oh yeah... Can't forget the super secret pact:

It'd be nice if they namechecked Sam Wilson as someone she knew from the Air Force.

Rhodey or Sam would make the most sense given their backgrounds, but it depends on what they do with Carol's origin story in the MCU. For all we know, one of the Guardians could show up here.

IF it's not Rhodey, I can see it being Sam since he has the Airforce in common with Danvers too.

And you know what. They could use her movie to tie the Guardians of the Galaxy in with Part 2 of the Avengers.

There's just so many ways this movie could go.

Rhodey would be the best fit if they go with the airforce route.

I didn't even think about Falcon. Him or Rhodey would make the most sense to me and would be surprised if at least one of them don't show up.

It'll never happen but I'd like a Jessica Jones cameo just because.

I thought it would be cool if Carol and Jess both get in a drunken bar fight. Probably not a great idea, come to think of it.

Scarlet Witch has no relationship at all with Captain Marvel, which is what MCU Carol will be based on. Ms. Marvel was friends with Wanda but that is largely forgotten and frankly made no sense as they had nothing in common.

Wanda has nothing to do cosmic or milliary stuff, and Carol is almost certainly pro-Accords, whereas Wanda is definitely vociferously anti.

Its the movies. If they want to make a connection to tie/implement a character into the film, it'll happen regardless of whats occurred in the books. Scarlet Witch and Carol are longtime team members in the books going back decades anyway. To say they have no relationship at all is absolutely false.

You dont need to have alot of stuff in common to be friends with someone. They share the superheroism and spent alot of time together and enjoyed each other's company. That was enough to forge a bond. MCU Wanda is already very far removed from comics Wanda so she may very well end up having more in common with MCU Carol

You do realize the movie is probably going to draw elements from across the various eras of the character's history, like almost every other MCU film to date, right?
