i think it would be cool for him to have a some type of motorcycle

Hell no...he didn't even ride one in Shumacher's movies.

I'm not a big fan of the bike ...but if there was I'm sure Nolan could do it justice.

I think gliding around Gotham in a Bat Costume is more intimidating than riding around on a Motorcycle

I think Nolan could make good use of one

Motorbikes would be more practical. They're faster, glide more easily through traffic and would be much easier to hide. I love the tumbler, but a motorbike would be the more logical choice.

Not necessarily. Yeah he could get through traffic more, but when he needs to get out of a jam (like he had to at arkham), the Tumble gives him much more power and most importantly, armor. People will always be shooting at him, or trying to stop him wiht barricades of some sort, and i would rather have somethign that can get through all of that easily, than depend on getting around it with a motorcycle.

^ Exactly... I seriously doubt that a ‘batcycle’ is more practical for running over other vehicles, crashing through barriers, blowing up things, and allowing the damsel to ride shotgun—all things that Batman required in Begins.

This is the bike from the new japanese 2007 series of "Kamen rider" and I thought it looked ok except lose the neon

OMG, you're totally right, he did need all those things from a vehicle in begins, it's almost as if there was some kind of script which lent itself to batman needing the tumbler. :wow: I wonder if there could be circumstances in TDK where he might need a bike? or maybe it would be too coincidental?

Funny funny!!:woot:

I voted yes. It's never been done before and seeing it parked next to the Batmobile in the cave would be kickass. Of course, hopefully the Tumbler will get a dry parking spot this time. And doing some BTAS stunts. But hopefully we can actually see some stunts with the backdrop of Chicago. Like that one scene in the BTAS where the Batcycle jumps the raising bridge.

As for the Harley comment, Harleys are crusiers not performance bikes. Yes the Harely Vrod is nice, but it still can't keep up with crotch rockets with half the displacement and twice the topend of the Harley type bikes. Not to mention they are loud and don't handle (which Bats needs because the Tumbler is a lousy handling tank) He needs a Tumbler-like R1/CBR/GIXXER/Ducati...Probably more like a Buel but with more cladding. But not a Harley and definately not that concept Jap movie bike above. That thing ^^^ looks like a phuggin' tylenol gel capsule.

I'd rather have him just stick with the Tumbler...

No, I don't think it will work.

personally I don't think it'll work any more or less than the tumbler, this is a movie, anything is possible, tanks driving on rooftops, 6 foot tall bats riding motorcycles....

I wonder... maybe Nolan should write some totally rad scene where Batman needs to skirt though impassible traffic, or navigate a narrow alley, or jump a row of buses à la Evil Knievel. That would so rock! It would be just like in Begins, but it’d be so much cooler on a bike because compared to the relative safety of the Tumbler, now life and limb are at constant risk. Yeah, yeah… and then, and then Batman has this cape retractor thing so that his cape doesn’t get caught in the wheels. OMG, you're totally right... that’s a fantastic idea!

No i hate the idea of a bike. Why would he ride a bike. His cape will only get stuck in the wheel, and then it's easy to knock him off.

The tumbler should be his only vehicle, because it's simply badass and efficient- a winning combination.

That said, i wouldn't mind seeing a bat-plane, something small, so he can get a better aerial view of the city. But tumbler should be his vehicle of choice.
