Should Bebop and Rocksteady appear??

Yes, they are due a theater appearance, IMO.:up:

They WERE supposed to be in TMNT2 but Laird and Eastman ''didn't like them'' (I'm guessing because they didn't create them) so they made up the other two....

But damn,are they badass.:o

I think they should appear, i mean they are apart of the turtle mytho's.

Oh yeah. I remember these guys. been a long time. lol. hmmm. You think it would work? to see these two on the big screen?

I think it'd be cool to see them. Although I think they shouldn't be like the cartoon where they were men turned into a rhino and boar. They should be animals the TCRI tested the ooze on. Testing it on a rhino would be odd, but it could be explained that it was an old rhino from an old zoo that got shut down. That would make Rocksteady a deeper character with him hating humanity for him being kept in captivity.

I'm gonna be in the minority here and say no. I never was a big fan of theirs, even as a kid.

There both major reasons I can't watch the old show and I really want to like the movie and they would only ruin it. So no.

i can see how they would kind of bring the movie down a bit, if they kept their characteristics the same as in the 80's cartoon than yeah it would probably go downhill a little bit. but if they changed thier characteristics to a more serious villianwise,

then that would be more acurate to the movie itself. kinda like what they did to raph's character. in the old toon he's sarcastic & funny , but in the new one he is agressive, angry, & has more depth to him.

If they're trying to stick to the comics, then, no. It'd be a funny cameo, but not starring roles preferably.

Bebop and Rocksteady would be great. Cameo or a full-on appearance I would be cheering in the theater isle if they came into the film.

Those two characters would have to be redesigned completely, even their garb they were typecast for that specific time period... I say no, pending their reinvention...

No. Absolutely not. The writers need to stick to following the comics. That is the best version of TMNT IMHO. No stupid mutants. NO MORE SHREDDER.

Sorry To those who love the 80's version of the cartoon, but that was for litttle kids and I for one would like to see a maturing of the franchise...even though the corporate suits think it should stay just for kids.

to my understanding bebop and rocksteady were created specifcally for the 87 series and to the disdain of eastman and laird. so i doubt they'll be showing up soon.

i wouldnt mind a usagi yojimbo cameo though.

I thought they did create them...or at least helped create them. I always thought the reason that Bebop and Rocksteady were absent from the films is because New Line owned the rights to the comics, and not the cartoon. And sense Bebop and Rocksteady were not in the comics, New Line did not own the rights to them. I may be wrong though.

However, I feel that Bebop and Rocksteady don't fit into any Turtle movie. Leave them in the cartoons, please.

All I got to say is:

Bebop & Rocksteady >>>>>>> Tokka & Rahzar

:p

Not much point for a poll when it's a pretty basic yes/no question....

Polls can be basic. Look at all those old hottie threads, there's only 2 options in those.
