Should Harrison Ford have been replaced in Indy 4?

Personally, I don't think so. He defined the character, he IS Indy. Sure, he's 66, but let's face it...he's in better shape at his age than alot of us are right now. Not to mention the movie looks pretty damn good! But someone seems to think it should have been done. What do you think?

However, I'm not one of those persons who would kick and scream and threaten to murder someone if they had replaced him.
I think someone like... oh... Nathan Fillion () could've possibly done the part justice, and it would've been interesting to see.

Nah, Fillion should just replace him as Han Solo when Lucas inevitably gets even greedier and makes Star Wars sequels. Though I'm guessing Fillion would be a hell of an Indy too.

But to the original question, no, no way, no how. Ford IS Jones. Plain and simple. This is a case where the actor defines the character.

I voted yes. In fact this thread was started because of me (don't I feel special ). Indiana Jones was always cornball (and not in the way that I like). So repalcing Ford isn't a big deal.

I wouldn't have had a problem with River Phoenix as Indy now...but that's impossible.
