None of you on here know it, but I have a friend so fancy in the whole graphic design area, it's crazy. He's taking that and he's going to apply it to a clothing line. His stuff has been "around" for a while, and I've helped him brain storm a few ideas for shirts, a mini-comic based off a shirt label, and other stuff. He kind of comes to me when he wants constructive criticism (because I don't give a what, I'll say how I feel about a dudes art).

Lately he's been getting noticed in Chicago and LA by some underground hip-hop artists asking for him "yo man them hats and shirts are mad swag, send dat **** my way". He does. Lately he's been tip-toeing around it in texts and emails and when we hang out, like he always says "hey man, if this gets big..." and stuff.

Maybe it might be that I watched The Social Network and don't want to get EDUARDO'D, but I don't want to jump into something that I could get screwed over in the end.

thoughts?

do it if he has talent

If you get Eduardo'd well then sell the movie rights

I say go for it if you get a cut of the profit. If he keeps growing make sure you get some kind of contract, and unlike dumbass Eduardo(movie version at least), get a lawyer to go over said contract.

This could be a really good move in your life.

Kill him, steal his identity, become him.

I doubt that you'll actually listen , but never get into business with friends. If it starts failing you'll start fighting , then eventually you'll become enemies.

I can't believe this question is even being asked.

Yeah go for it...I mean if you don't care about losing money AND your friend.

Going into business with friends or family is bad idea. I almost always ends badly with a failed business and ruined relationships because you're not just invested financially but emotionally also.

Yep, cause every business ever started between friends has ended that way.

I'd say go for it as well. You could get rich! If you don't, at least you tried.

exactly what would you be bringing to the table, other than occasionally giving him ideas?
