Should Lana Lang have been killed off?

I find her completely useless at this point and the fact they are making her CEO of Lexcorp is utter BS, I hate it.

Instead of killing good characters like Ted Kord in IC for dramatic effect, would you have prefered Lana Lang's brains to be blown out.. ?

Why would her taking over LexCorp be BS? She's an established character, she was so obsessed with Clark that it tore her marriage apart, and she'll soon be running his arch-nemesis' company. Sounds like the makings of some interesting stories down the line to me.

When did she become CEO of Lexcorp?
It would be interesting if she got romantically involved with Lex.
I don't wanna see her die though, maybe just disappear, but not die.

In the last issue of Superman, Perry offered Clark the assignment to interview Lana due to their past connection. The reason the Planet wanted an interview at all is because she just became LexCorp's new CEO.

She acts like a total disgrace. Shes just so unnecessary. I dont care for any drama they try to develop here, leave that to Smallville.

She isnt even business oriented, yet she got this job. Its obviously she did Lex certain favors to get the job..urgh

I can see why you would hate Lana on Smallville but in the comics?

I guess as long as her behavior doesnt mirror the Smallville version, I guess it would be okay.

BUT, she still seems unnecessary to me. Her only purpose is to add drama, before to Clark's marriage and now to this.

On another note, I pray to jebus that Chloe Sullivan never shows her ugly face in the comics. There were rumors about this on some Smallville sites, Superman doesnt need a 4th wheel.....

Arent they supposed to be cousins? Naw, that just sucks. The character was simply created as a Lois/Lana composite to fill the role of a 3rd wheel on the show. Shes pretty irrelevant to the comics.

You could've gone to the God of the very first universe, but if you did it now, you'd just be copying me and that would make you a loser. I actually didn't expect you to jump right to God. I was expecting the first narrative grunt that escaped a caveman's lips before they ever learned that charcoal could leave marks on walls for art or something.

I like Lana Lang, and think it would be stupid to get rid of her or any of the other established characters. Her becoming the CEO of Lexcorp seemed a little contrived but as another poster pointed out it should make for some interesting storylines.
