Why thank you! Btw I love your quote James Dean is the man.
I would love a cameo, I would love even a mention at the end of the film as Bats goes back to work that he's tracking both the joker and scarecrow's movements after escaping during the damage done to gotham from bane. We don't even have to see them, and they don't even need to leave it open for a sequel, just kind of matter of fact mention that even though the movie ends and Nolan, cast and crew probably are wrapping it up, we are left with the idea that batman lives on to fight crime another day. It's what he does. Of course...that's just all wild fan fantasy.
I just read that Scarecrow and the Joker wil kidnap the mayor!
How do you get that?
Why would you think that's the first time Batman fought with him since BB?
I would even guess that he's been taken down by Batman 2-3 times since the events of BB. He just seemed so used to it. At the time of TDK, the whole city is used to Batman being arround, and the badies are jumping at shadows.
A typical night for Batman is taking on a few of his rogue gallery foes.
Ya in the reboot sequel ten years from now
Having him pop up in TDK was a nice little surprise, doing it again though makes the idea a bit tired though really. What would be the point?
Who said it was the first time Batman fought with him since BB? Show me the quote. I said he was in it because he evaded capture in BB. Meaning he was still on the loose. Meaning he was still a loose end.
Gordon made the point of saying Crane was still on the loose at the end of Begins.
You can guess as much as you like, but he was in it because we didn't see him get caught in Begins. They had to show what became of him.
So was all of Gotham's criminals. "They're wise to your act".
Yes because he has so many rogues gallery villains to make up a typical night for Batman by the start of TDK. There was Scarecrow.....and.....oh wait, that's all.
that mustach dude seems to know him very well as well.
We'll, maybe it's true that he hadn't been caught yet, but I would guess they've at least sparred off multiple times; taking into consideration how well he knew Batman.
I know about the rogues in the movie, I was just speaking in general of Batman. It's the first thing that came to mind, for me, when I saw the scene - no big deal for Batman, just another night of taking out Scarecrow.
Maybe a touch of TDK Returns? Strange (or some other guy) appears on television early on in the movie with a *reformed* Jonathan Crane (instead of the Joker), claiming that Crane is sane and has been a scapegoat of Batman all along. Which would also lead off nicely into the smear campaign against Batman, and whether his brand of vigilantism has any place in the City.
Guys I will bet any one of you any amount of money that Crane/Scarecrow will NOT be in TDKR.
Hey all, just wanted to finally join up after all of the LA filming. I've been watching it closely and I have a big spoiler:
Cillian Murphy is returning in TDKR. You can see him at Union Station in Los Angeles, but at least that's where I saw him earlier on my way back home from taking spy photos.
I couldn't take a picture of him because there are a ton of security guards, but he's definitely there.
You can take this as 100% legit fact.
Scarecrow is in TDKR.
He was wearing a black robe, probably to disguise his suit underneath.
I will continue to post more info and intel as I gather it.
Maybe the robe is to hide a more complete Scarecrow suit? I know it's a stretch but a full costume could signal the arrival of the fully-formed freak criminals of Gotham.
where's salt when u need it?
Wouldn't be surprised. He doesn't need to be in this movie but I could easily see Nolan not being able to resist, he likes working with Cillian. Convenient you only sign up today to say this, though...
It would line up with that rumour that Bane has all the criminals Harvey convicted released, actually.
Scarecrow wasn't one of the men Harvey put away. He also would be locked up in Arkham with Joker, not in Blackgate.
Blackgate is the place that's dedicated to Harvey.
Very true Joker.
Going to have to agree here.
His character got its due in BB. Batman's story needs to move forward without him, especially by the third film.
If these rumors are true I'm stoked! Never really thought Crane/Scarecrow would be in TDKR. But I always wanted it.
I love Cillian's and Nolan's Crane. Pray to god we get to see him in the burlap.
I hope this Magnus Rex dude is a speaker of the truth.
Scarecrow NEEDS to be in TDKR. First off it would be great because it would show that he's still running around Gotham committing crimes. It's great for continuity purposes in my opinion.
If this is true...
(yeah, it's my new favorite smiley haha)
