In the beginning the Smallville motto was "No flights, No tights". But that was was then and this is now. Assuming that the movie turns out to be great and the mass public are clamoring for more flying guy in blue tights, Should the Smallville executives break the law that they set and start moving Clark into a "Superboy" type of role? Should he gain the ability to fly at will? Or will that ruin the purity of the show? What do you think???

no suit, but I want more flying...not every episode, but it should be done more often

yes yes yes yes, i totally see a metropolis spin off series. they could do it. if they did it as well as they did smallville i'd watch it

They wont do a SV Metropolis series with Superman movies going on in theatres....That was the reason they couldnt use Bruce Wayne on Smallville; Batman Begins.

Secondly If they ever wanted to start 'Metropolis' it would have begun this season or last......so it doesnt seem likely at all.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing a seperate Metropolis series one day, with the only person brought back from Smallville being Michael Rosenbaum.

You working for WB now? They mustve noticed your video making capabilities....

An awesome finale for me would contain:

Clark telling Lana.
Somehow showing a new unique \S/ shield on some sort of costume. He doesn't have to have it on.

apparenty they did, they pulled my Superman (Smallville Theme) video down for copyright infrigement to the dismay of a truckload who apparently enjoyed it......They even sent me a 'no hard feelings' email of sorts...

Its okay though, lots and lots of other public sites to host stuff on.

As long as it isnt an \8/, thats cool.

I used to like the show, but I realized I wasn't getting enough Superman mythos. You get 1 good step forward, what every five episodes? The show is horrible. Put it out to pasture.

I actually thought the show started really out bad. It was just a different freak every week who got "infected" with kryptonite and became powerful. Remember the girl who drank kryptonite smoothies and got some powers. PMS girl or something. Geez, that was bad.

At least now, there is the Zod/Braniac/Phantom Zone stuff. Overall though....sucks.

They turned Zod into a ghost with no body. Brainiac into his tool. Lex into Lexodiac = Lex + Brainiacs powers + Zod's ghost possessing him......

and guaranteed hes gonna forget learning about Clark's powers again for the 5th time come Sept.

No outright flying, but Clark should definitely be doing more leaping. I don't even want to contemplate Welling in the tights. Yeah, he's fine, but I can't see it.

My first thought too was Welling in tights, hmmm. He is hot but that would be wrong.

Yeah, maybe save the flying for the finale, maintain the purity.

They dont have to do the tights right away but some flight would be a plus

Maybe later, I'd love to see Metropolis the series.

It should sell out, but not for a year or two. When Lex finally goes evil, then it's time for the suit and for the Finale, then Metropolis can begin.

Sell out now... the show is weak with its gradual build up. They can do a year or two with the suit and have better stories than freak of the weak stuff.

I think that for the series finale, there should be a feature film based on Birthright.

Also when Lex is saved next season by Clark, (I'd assume he would), do you think that he will have a genius brain?
