Simple question. Should the Reboot (Sequels) deal with the Death of Aunt May?

I think it would be one of the most poignant (if not the most) stores in the movies.

I think that if The Death of Aunt May were to be done, it would have been done by Sam Raimi. The OT dealt with an older Peter and May. I'm still not sold on this teenage Spidey idea. It sounds like they are going to cater to a younger audience. In my mind, that sounds like lots of action, little story. Especially not the type of poignant story that the death of May deserves.

So I guess the short answer is "no."

No. May's death is the reason why spidey comics are in the state that it's in and seeing as the series is being rebooted, Ben's death is still echoing around so May needs to be a constant support figure as of now.

No way Jose. I want an Aunt May who's actually in her 40's not the 70 something versions of the past. The way the recent animated series handles her is the best imo. If Peter Parker is 15 ,and his father is Ben's Brother, then it's really pushing it for Ben and May to be in their 60's and 70's.

Only if the end of May brings about a new beginning in the life of Peter moving forward in marriage with MJ. I would expect that to come in episode 6 of the new reboot... if it last that long.
