The Dark Knight Should there be one final Gotham Times newspaper?

I would love to see an additional Gotham Times that keeps us up to date with what happened after the movie, but if there's going to be a third movie we won't know what the timeframe after TDK it takes place in. If it only takes place a few months or weeks after TDK then we can't expect too much viral mania happening until closer to the release date.

Bearing in mind that even if and I mean to stress if, even if there is going to be a third movie we will still have to wait for pre-production, production, post-production, then the launch. It could be a year or so off if they're just starting work on it now.

Unless someone can find out where they're filiming Rory's Second Kiss.

Here's my concept:

The fourth Gotham Times comes out, and details the movie and Jokers capture. I am not sure if Harvey is Dead or not.

It sits dormant for months. Joker is admitted to Arkham, and as part of his therapy and rehabilitation, he has plastic surgery forced on him to correct his scars, This changes his appearance, and he seems cured.

One day, the fourth Gotham Times is found to be defaced! Upon checking his cell, it is found that Joker has escaped, and a Ronald MacDonald statue has been used to make everyone think he was still there.

He starts up a new set of games, to kick off the 3rd movie.

Thats...A horrible idea, Joker used again as a villian and no Heath Ledger.. i don't think so

I agree completely, that'd completely destroy all sense of character and heart from what we've had....thankfully....will never happen!
