Should they bring back the DCAU?

Personally, I think the DCAU is the best adaptation of the DC universe ever attempted, and I would be delighted to get more stories from that universe. The rumor is that the new Batman and Harley Quinn movie is set in the DCAU, and I could not be happier about that. So what do you guys think? Are there more stories to tell?

One story that I would like to see is the "Near Apocalypse of 09", which was the last battle between Ra's (in his original body) and Batman. It's been referenced, but we've never seen what happened.

Nah. I'd be much more interested in an expansion of the YJ universe.

I love the DCAU more than just about anything, but we should let it stay the way it ended.

Better to walk away when you are still on top than overstay your welcome.

Yeah. It ended well.

I wouldn't mind having a movie like they originally planned to, that would bridge the gap between Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

They should bring it back but not as a series

Some animated films would be nice though

I definitely want a DTV follow up to JL/JLU.

Maybe they can do the Near Apocalypse.

If the series ended with more than enough episodes and an actual conclusion, it's on the bottom of my revival list.

DC animation is usually on point, no reason to bring back the old shows when the new shows, YJ, and movies are good and getting better.

The Harley Quinn movie looks like the worst DC animated movie to date.

No way, they ended the series perfectly.

YJ on the other hand, I'd love to see that universe open up.

I think they should bring it back.

New episodes of Batman TAS and/or Superman TAS would be amazing. Just bring back the whole gang. Why not.

Young Justice Universe is so well developed, the dynamic of the show is so strong.

To me YJ gave characters more of a chance and development than JL Unlimited did. Young Justice has superb writing, my girlfriend who is NOT into comics at all fell in love with the stories/plots/characters involved in Young Justice and watch ep 1 of season 1 all the way to the finale of season 2. The show was inviting, had great energy, always came back to prior subplot points to further develop them.

The new DC animated movies feel tiny, Batmans world has been slightly developed more than the rest of the JL members(Damian, Batwoman, Nightwing, Batwing, Heretic) but other than that it feels like a tiny universe because you only see a few titans and a few JL members with the random addition of the Dark team.

I love how the world of YJ felt large/expansive and full of history with JSA members, an expansive JLA team, and the growing YJ team. YJ always felt like there was a new story to develop, and made you care about some of the characters lives and issues outside of fighting crime.

I know we are getting Season 3 of YJ but if we get a full on revived DCAU somehow, I hope they have the writers from YJ, they knew how to handle a large roster of characters and make them all matter.

Man, you can thank Greg Weisman for that, and I agree, the other nice part with YJ it does feel the Justice League are much superior, but that Young Justice still has its place in the world.

I still can't believe cartoon network cancelled it.

Is the movie "Batman and Harley Quinn" part of the DCAU or is that a separate entity?

I'd like to see a new JL series that takes place in the Young Justice universe.
