Before the announcement of Gal Gadot being cast, there were news about casting a female lead that was rumored to be Bruce Wayne's love interest in Batman vs Superman (without specifying whether it was Wonder Woman or not).

Soon after, Gal Gadot was cast in the role of Wonder Woman. This begs the question, will Wonder Woman be Batman's love interest in the DC cinematic universe? If so, are you a fan of this? Or would you rather have have a Clark/Diana/Lois love triangle? Or would you prefer Wonder Woman being neither the love interest of Bruce and Clark (maybe have Steve Trevor appear in a future movie)?

The LI for Batman was pure especulation from Latino Review which was the first to announce the casting call for a female lead. He also said it had almost no chance of being for Wonder Woman.

All that said, I'd like to see them together as partners with Bruce knowing who Diana is. And this could go for some of the film untill Diana reveals herself for the world.

And if I could pick on LI for Wonder Woman, it would be Orion.

It just seems a bit of a shame if they did make her arm candy. How are yu supposed to make women feel comig away from yet another movie where the female role is deemed unsuccessful if she doesn't play the love interest?
I'd rather Wonder Woman come in with a bang, than a wimper. I'd love a scene of supes going to stop her, and she gust brushes him off by twisting his arm, to his amazement. Boom! Strong female character! Add batman smirking at a deflated man of steel....

I hate the Superman/WW pairing, but I loved the way the WW/Batman relationship was done in animated JL. There was obviously something there between them, but they never delved too deep into their relationship.

Since I know that WB will be hesitant to have a WW movie without Batman or Superman in the movie, maybe Batman is the one that accidentally crashes on Themyscira instead of Steve? He'd be out of costume for pretty much the entire movie aside from whatever the final battle is.

I could see them as partners fighting evil. Maybe he figured out who she really was and vice versa, then they teamed up. I could also see her "dating" him as part of her disguise/observing "man's world." And actual romance, it COULD potentially work, but they'd have to be VERY careful about how it's done so that WW doesn't just come across as arm candy. It'd be difficult to do, but it's doable nonetheless.

I think she will be bruce waynes love interest in the movie as a undercover. I dont think she will be batmans love interest or supermans.

I wouldn't mind if Bruce and her flirted a bit, since they've done that before, but not a full blown relationship.

No, neither. Whenever she's paired with superman or batman it's always awkward as **** and seems like a stunt. No triangles either. It's such a cheap and immature way to create melodrama. Yuck.

The rumor of a Kryptonian background is horrible enough of her having to rely on Superman, don't be pairing her with him or Batman to outright negate her character's essence.

^^^what this guy said^^^

It doesn't do Wonder Woman any favours. And the idea of batman knowing her identity off the bat makes my brain ooze out my nostrils. He's good but in no realistic way would he have her on his radar. If he does then he comes off as a smug prig. Keep batman focused on supes and have Wonder Woman shake thigs up!

depending on how they portray Diana, I wouldn't mind if she was portrayed as being a fierce warrior who's relatively "naïve" about the outside world.

so, she's just not into all that love stuff.

so Bruce may try to put the charm offensive on her, and she totally brushes him off.

Agreed. Though, I wouldn't mind a relationship being formed in a future movie.

Yes since she is such a nonexistent character in the comics. Look how she's dressed totally a nonentity, simply a T&A pinup girl. :o

Should she be makes it sound like that is the one answer.

She could be without it being complete chaos but no, she should not be.

If that makes sense

No. Wonder Woman should be an independent character and not merely Batman or Superman's "love interest" or the token "eye candy" in the film.

I wouldn't be opposed to a mild flirtation between Bruce Wayne and Princess Diana at a charity function in Gotham City or in a similar situation where they are both sizing up the other, but I wouldn't like to see anything more than that. And I wouldn't want them flirting up a storm as Batman and Wonder Woman when they're meant to be focusing on the threat at hand.

Really, I'd prefer to see Superman as Batman's love interest in the film. That would be a fresh, unique spin on the old "Superman vs. Batman" storyline.

th

not a legit love interest. but she might use Bruce Wayne as cover to get her into certain places of interest. Like a Luthor event.
