Showering, how often?

One doesn't need to shower twice a day, I do it cause I feel good afterwards. Aside from clinical reasons, guess my question to those who skip a day or more, was that the way you were raised or at some point you just decided **** it?

My mum is SUPER clean. But kind of controlling about it.

I mean, she used to wash and dry my hair for me until I was at least 10.

I think my messy nature/slightly casual outlook on hygiene is part rebellion and part growing up with her just doing things for me rather than getting me in the habit of doing it myself.

I'm not gross. I'm really paranoid about smelling so i never let it go that far.

And I don't like being too scruffy.

I'm just not ritualistic about it I guess.

Wanted to add a few more things:

I brush my teeth in the morning and at night before going to bed.

I change my underwear every other day (hey don't judge, I shower every day at least)

I change my socks every other day too.

Growing up, mandatory once a day shower. Eventually as I grew older, I just said **** it. I know when I'm dirty. And like, 95% of the time I'm not.

Oh no along with washing my electricity throwing butt everyday, i brush my teeth twice everyday( 3 times if i ate some sushi or some ^& like that!) one never knows when one might run into Charlize Theron on the street and she wants some lightning!

If you're having hot, passionate, sensual sex then yeah, you sweat.

Also there's tge exchange of body fluids/juices. Leaving that on genetelia and on the body without washing after is just lazy, disgusting and stank.

Hollywood sex is a joke and they often have the lovers roll out of bed, put their clothes on and they go about their day. No shower, no washing of hands, no nothing.

I shower daily but every now and then I might skip a day but I hate how it makes me feel. I do go extended periods of time without shaving but more often than not I shave my head on a daily basis as well. You can look as scruffy as you want but nobody can ever look at a guy with a clean shaven head and say "That dude is just dirty"
