shrinking DVD Image

A friend and I were discussing DVD shrink and I think that when you shrink a DVD image that was ripped it loses picture quality. Can anyone verify if quality is lost with shrinking an image?

Ive never noticed a loss in quility with it, but hey! that could just be me

Are you watching the shrank DVD on abig screen tv? I think what I should do to test this theory is take one of my Pixar movies, rip it, shrink it and burn it and do a comparison that way.

Thats a good idea, no biggest tv in my house its like 15" haha not like i have a 30" wide screen or anything
