When five American college students arrive in Ireland to go on camping trip with their old college buddy Jake, they are in high spirits. Jake has promised them the ‘trip’ of a lifetime’ because he claims Ireland has the best magic mushrooms in the world. It sounded like it would be great fun. Now that they are tripping things don’t seem so funny. BLUTO, one of the gang is missing. TARA thinks he’s dead because she feels she has seen his death before but nobody believes her they think she is just out of it. They’re out of it too. That was the whole point of coming here, but there is something out there, something watching them, something that will kill them if they don’t get out of the forest and get help.

What we need... more ******ed **** about psychadelics... I swear it like half of these films that have stuff like this have probably never tripped before.

this came out in the UK last December on a small limited run theatrically.

i saw it, it wasn't too bad, but a bit short and predictable.

It looks a little silly but i might give it a try.

Is there any twists daywalker? It seems like it'd be one the kind of movie that [BLACKOUT]would be like, one of the members of the party didnt take the shrooms, and is killing everyone for revenge of some kind, or maybe its all in someone's head that took the drugs, or something along the lines[/BLACKOUT]

You hit the nail on the head. The Tara character killed all her friends under the influence of the mushrooms

It played one night on HDNET about 1 or 2 months ago. It was alright. The ending was meh.

Wow.. Lost teens being killed in the woods.. It's amazing how they ALWAYS think of new ideas.. :whatever:

nobody has the same trip, though... hell, even the few times i did acid and 'shrooms the delusions were completely different, and my friends and i saw and heard totally different things.

except for one time my friend and i saw the exact same things all night. that was kind of weird.

then why don't you come up with an original idea and quit complaining?

it's a slasher movie. this is the way they usually go.

That's the problem.

Whatever happened to good old fashioned killer on the loose, killing random people at random times. Now all we get is sadistic killer, killing teens because they do stupid things and 9 times out of 10 you are glad they die.

I want a movie called Weed where the characters are in the forest, smoke some up, and take up an hour and a half discussing why Hong Kong Phooey was anthropormorphic whereas the cat wasn't.

Wow, this movie looks like the biggest load of propaganda on earth.

That is technically true. There are still a few things that more often than not remain the same across the board no matter how many different stories you hear. One of the biggest misconceptions about shrooms though is that you start imagining things that are not there, or that it takes you to a fantasy land completely different from the place you already are. Generally you are reacting to things that already exist, but interpret them differently than you would if you were sober. I can't tell you how often I've seen people completely ignore that in films or television.

Also, for a movie about shrooms it sure doesn't look very visually stimulating.

Although I just realized that that may be because they expect 99% of the people going to see this will probably be high as a kite anyway. Still, for a movie about shrooms I would expect a little more than the occasional trail.
