Horror SICK (2023) | Peacock

I watched this the other day. loved it!

 

Only saw the trailer, the lady not letting the girl into car because of no mask made me chuckle.

 

This was so fun... the ringtone on the kid's cell during the opening kill was a huge SCREAM homage. Action/kills were fun. Girls made a badass duo.

 

John Hyams is a seriously talented director just like his father and if you guys enjoyed this you should definitely check out his previous under the radar film Alone which is even better IMO.

I loved the direction/chase scenes in this movie.

 

This was okay. I got a good laugh when they revealed the killer's motives.

 

Saw this one when it came out and it was a good time. I can see myself rewatching this one every now and then.

 

Really enjoyed this. Although their parts were small, Jane Adams and Marc Menchaca were especially great. Adams in particular is such an underrated character actor. Glad to see her getting some meaty roles in this and Hacks. I also thought the young cast members were good. I was shocked to realize DJ was young Clark from MoS.

 

Enjoyed this, although found it to be a little too derivative of Scream in several ways.

 

Some really fun and well shot kills in this movie.

 

I did too but I kinda felt like this movie did Scream better than the last two Scream movies, lol.

 

You should also all check out his two Universal Soldiers movies. Still the high water marks of DTV action. I have to believe Hyams turned down offers to make bigger franchise fair, because it's impossible to believe after those two movies that he didn't get some meetings.
