He might as well. It seems like anytime Clint gets within 5 feet of a bow and some arrows he picks them up and uses them.

It's just sad that writers have to keep giving him an excuse for grabbing a bow and arrow (assuming, of course, Kate doesn't happen to be there and happily give him back his own bow). There were bows and arrows in feudal Japan. Giving Hawkeye his proper weapons wouldn't ruin the new theme.

Perhaps they can use Dr. Doom's time machine to send the Ronin identity back to the 90s where it will fit better.

On a Steve/Bucky reunion

Brevoort: "Steve and Bucky haven't had so much as a heartfelt conversation—when Steve first found him, he was still brainwashed, and after Steve used the Cosmic Cube to deprogram him, Bucky went underground and remained on the run past the point when Steve was assassinated. So really, Wield is the first opportunity these two guys have had to compare notes outside of a battlefield. And a lot of what happens will have to do with what Steve experienced during Reborn, and what Bucky has been experiencing since Steve was killed. It's definitely not a cut-and-dried matter to be easily dealt with."

Brevoort: "I think that, at this point, most readers accept Bucky as a character unto himself—whether as the Winter Soldier or as Captain America—which is a testament to the strength of what Ed and Steve and everybody else accomplished. Bucky's gone from being a one-note nostalgic joke of a character to somebody that readers are interested in following on a regular basis. Within the Marvel Universe, though, is a subtly different story, as there he almost can't help but be measured against the impossible-to-match standard Steve set as Captain America."

On Bucky's changing mission

Brevoort: "While he took on the role out of a sense of obligation to Steve's memory, being Captain America has been therapeutic to Bucky, and has allowed him to form relationships with people in the modern era. If you take that away from him, what does he have left? Possibly the very scary realization that he needs to find a way to put his horrible past behind him and find a place for himself in the world of today. As long as Steve was gone, Bucky, like a shark who has to constantly move forwards to stay alive, could sustain himself by simply filling Steve's boots—that gave him a role. Once you take that away from him, it's going to leave a gaping maw in his world."

On the battle for the shield

Bendis: "If Steve Rogers is in fact reborn, there's going to be a lot for him and Bucky to work out. Who will be Cap? Will be Cap/Winter Soldier/Bucky/Nomad/U.S. Agent… there will be a lot to decide! Maybe they'll all just put on Ronin costumes and piss everyone off. But I don't want to say too much here because I don't want to spoil what Ed is working on."
