Why'd the character limit get cut down?

500 characters including BBcode. I know it got cut down because I can't change my sig now. WIIIIIIDICULOUS!

Yet somehow when they throw BBcode in there doubling that isn't enough! lol. It's ridiculous to include BBcode in the character count.

That was another part of the upgdade. I have no idea why this was included, but it makes no sense, to me at least. Bitter with the better, and all that.

i have the same question... It wont allow me to edit my sig. Do I need to make it smaller? Or can I know longer do it in color?
