Seems like a double standard to me. I was called a homophobe (by a lesbian) simply because I said I'm straight and proud of it. I tried pointing out to her that being proud of being straight doesn't imply that I dislike homosexuals. Her response is that there should be no such thing as "being proud of being straight". I asked her to explain why gays like to use the term "gay pride" then, if one can't be proud of their sexual orientation. She just said I wouldn't understand because of my "homophobic ways" and stormed off. So am I homophobic simply because I'm proud of being straight?

There's really no need to feel proud we're the majority.

We've won...

lol, does she have a mullet?

Nope. She's actually kinda cute. At least I thought so until she started acting like that.

I have learned that, no matter how pretty a woman is, her demeanor can instantly make her unattractive.

Yes, I do believe we need to have more Straight Pride parades ......

that would be awesome. huge floats depicting run of the mill, uninteresting sex and conservative bedroom attire as far as the eye can see.

They are just trying to silence critics or even those like you (who is not a critic) but speaks proudly of what you are. Free speech for them but for you. If you are proud of what you are, it does not have to be a put down of another group.

Homophobia would be like, "Ew, that person is a gay, gtfaway!!!"

Tell her that.

Wow ... apparently you havent been in my bedroom when my wife and I have a bit of fun .... :woot:

Just cuz someone is straight dosen't mean that the sex is boring.

And no, there is nothing wrong with being proud of being straight same with nothing wrong being proud of being gay or bi or black, hispanic, asian or yes kids, even white.

After all, it is the gay's fault that American solider die in Iraq. Unless they are black, then its their own fault.

(good lord I hope you all can pick up the sarcasm here)

Is it too early to do my Taiwarroz21 impersonation?

As a gay guy, I don't see anything wrong with what you said. Not trying to speak for the general homosexual population either.

And not all straight sex is boring.:o

i dont think im proud of being straight. i'm just straight. why would you say straight and proud of it when you knew your friend was a clam licker?
