Calling all Superman and comic book film fans!

Signatures are now being gathered to send to Warner Brothers Studios informing them that the fans want to see Bryan Singer direct the sequel to Superman Returns. As many of you know, Superman Returns is the first film of Bryan Singer’s Superman trilogy, but Warner Brothers has recently announced their intention to reboot the entire franchise INCLUDING the Christopher Reeve classics! Make your voice heard and let them know that you, the fans, want to see the original films honored and Bryan Singer’s original vision carried out.

Even then, despite us not knowing all of the details, there was a lot of heartbreak and disconnection with Singer's relationship with Superman, as a franchise. You can just sense it. Hell, I think this movie has affected his career as a filmmaker. I can't see him coming back even if WB asks him to.

Even then, the people who actually liked Superman Returns is so split that I can't see enough support anyway.

i'm signing just to get wb to get on with the story and not do a reboot. they wasted all this time delaying mos and still have nothing to show for it except a 2012 deadline so they wont loose the rights.

I seem to be the only one who thinks Singer doesn't want to do a Superman Returns sequel and never really planned to. I always got the vibe that he viewed Returns as a one-shot story and it didn't matter if he made a sequel or not.

As much as I would like to see Singer return & maybe make the film better (like he did with X-Men), I think he is done. He has so many other projects in the work right now that there is no way he can do a new Superman film.

And online petitions rarely work anyway. Well, expect for tv shows but that another story.

If SR was all that it was supposed to be, there would be a sequel.

A reboot is needed.

If there was anything to do a petition for, it would just be a general one stating that fans want another Superman film... PERIOD. Without taking sides on the reboot or sequel issue.
