Hilarious, nice to see you. I'm surprised you haven't responded to some of the harsher stuff in here about SV.
Eh. I didn't read the whole thread, but when I saw folks arguing over misquoted "spoilers" for an upcoming SV episode, I figured it wasn't worth it. If people don't want to take the time to read the official synops from the network, and then believe what some dip writes in summary, I aint gonna bother "fixing" it. The ep will air next week and people will see it then. It's like the "who's kid is it?" arguments here. We've got three months to go. Why continue to debate it? I can wait. Besides, it's the wrong forum to be discussing SV episodes, especially ones that haven't aired yet.
You probably don't think it's worth your time though, correct?
That too. It's tiring and doesn't get anybody anywhere. I thoroughly enjoy SV, warts and all, but if other Superman fans don't, that's their prerogative. And folks don't have to be Superman fans to like the show. It's an entertainment choice just like any other skein or film. The rift sux, but whatcha gonna do? It's a fictional story about a fictional character, so people are allowed to have subjective opinions about the things they like verses what they don't. Let 'em rant or rave.
Personally, I have more fun talking about SV episodes and characters and anticipating new ones as they're introduced on a weekly basis. It spreads the enjoyment out through the years, literally. After SR unspools, fans will have to wait two or three years for another one. Right now, I'm staring down seven more hours of SV before SR even opens, and another 22 hours after that. And that's with a Superman actor whom I utterly adore, on a show that entertains me beyond words. I guess that's really all that matters, right? I'm good.
