SithXKosan's Arts: Feedback needed and appreicated!

You're off to a good start, but I suggest picking up an anatomy or figure drawing book. "How to draw Comics the Marvel Way" is the great great grandfather of How to draw books, see if you can find it. Nothing better then learning to draw from John Buscema and Stan Lee

thanks Silver!! That means a lot! Appreicate your support! You can do the same, I've seen your great animation style.. I love batman TAS!!! :)

Your sense for action posing is great (I never seem to be able to catch them). Your artwork is good too.
You only need to worry about anatomy a bit more.
Search for some Arnold Schwarzie pictures with google, and study his muscles. That'll do you good.

I actually have that book.. ;) the strange thing is I've taken class "Anatomy for artists" coule of years ago.. Guess that's one thing that I need to reestablish: my veiwing of arts (anatomy part)...

blah blah blah anatomy.... as other people have said. I noticed a lot of young artists love to add a million more muscles that arent actually there. Instead of making the characters look stronger, all they do is make them look lumpy.

I also noticed that you tend cover your characters in a weird shading that makes them look like they are covered in a transparent gel (your x-men feb 06 is a good example). Try blocking in black. Start to really think about were your light is coming from. Be confident. Fill in some areas.

Thanks man! I was actually trying to make colossus seem shiny.. That's why I added "transparent gel"... I'll experiment with different methods..

yeah, I understand with collosus- but the exact same shading is on all the other characters aswel.

i was gonna say they look like theyre built out of mud. kinda like glops of mud pushed together to make their flesh.

well...you could always make a living drawing clayface!
