Hold up, I had it in my head that Rock Band was made by the same people... It's by EA?Between this and Rock Band, it seems like EA is deadset on making Activision obsolete.
And **** EA for being so lazy they wont try to optimize the PS3 version. You don't need to have all of them. You can use whichever you want, but I think they have some sort of bundle package.
EDIT:
That link is the 360 review, the PS3 review is basically the same except instead of a an 8.0 on graphics it got a 7.0 due to some frame rate issues among other things.

Just played the Skate demo and I dont like it. The controls are too confusing for me. I guess Im just used to Tony Hawk and its simplicity. I found Skate more frustrating than fun
I dont like using the right stick to do tricks. Getting into a manual is more trouble than it should be. Like I siad, Im so used to TH so this is all a drastic change; not one the demo sold me onHow are the controls confusing? They are very straight forward and natural.
Its a videogame. I want fantasy. Thats the fun of it all. I think TH has started to decline with THUG2, but I felt last year's Proving Ground for the next gen systems helped redeem the series as that was a pretty solid addition and a step in the right direction. After playing both demos, Im more inclined to stick with TH rather than switch to SkateA real manual is pretty friggin' tough to pull off. In Skate, they focused on making it more realistic, so it takes more effort to pull off simpler tricks. Tony Hawk is pure fantasy, and you frequently do tricks that are impossible to perform in real life. Personally, I really like the Skate demo, and I think it's a breath of fresh air after Activision's recent string of sub-par annual Tony Hawk sequels.

Only basketball games and the NFL Street seriesI take it you dont play any sports games?
I tend to play the 2K games although I like the Live demo thats outThe picture becomes a bit clearer now that you said you play the NFL Street series. Do you play Live or the 2K series in basketball?
im just gonna assume you dont skate in real life?I dont like using the right stick to do tricks. Getting into a manual is more trouble than it should be. Like I siad, Im so used to TH so this is all a drastic change; not one the demo sold me on
