so, it's Broadchurch expect it's snowing.

On the surface maybe but that setting and cast are too good to pass up.

They are showing TV spots for this regularly, I love this kind of thing and the setting takes it up a few notches for me, I'm in! :D

I like stuff setting in the Arctic circle and I'm a fan of Johnny Harris/Treadway twins so I'll watch it

Yeah I caught a TV Spot this morning and looked it up. It looks great. The Artic setting is absolutely stunning and lends itself well to the nature of the show.

Definitely, it's stunning visually but also very remote which adds to the atmosphere and tension.

Amazing premiere episode!

I'm all caught up, the setting and concept are great and the atmosphere is a bit like Girl with the Dragon Tattoo meets Gracepoint. In truth I struggled to get into it though as I just didn't like any of the characters, then Stanley Tucci arrived and things picked up.
Verónica Echegui so hot :hubba

Is that the Spanish chick? She is smokin'.

The setting is great but I don't care much for the characters and the story is very slow and dull. :(

The first couple of episodes were pretty pedestrian but it's really picked up recently.

This is so disappointingly dull and dreary, and what is up with the creepy dude trying to feed up the fat girl? That came out of nowhere.

WTF?

So a prehistoric mammoth gives off a disease that turns anyone who catches it into a trance induced ritualistic murderer

If this was some David Lynch style fantasy show or David Cronenberg body horror I might go along with it but this is a more grounded crime mystery show. This plotline just comes off as weird and like it belongs in a completely different show.

Eh it worked for me, it's had that twin peaks feel since the first episode and I think the setting lends itself to the more fantasy element so well....... it was frigging rank though!

I am only half watching this at this point so I must have missed the Prehistoric Mammoth thing, but the whole plot with the creepy dude feeding up the fat woman has been weird and seemingly unconnected to anything else, and that ending was gross and made no sense to me.

I don't know how they can stretch this out to a second season, I was really looking forward to a murder mystery set in this isolated icy town, instead it's some weird Cornenberg grossness filled with weird characters.

No idea how this will work, the way the story has played out doesn't leave much scope and most of the characters they marketed this thing on are dead.

Dennis Quaid, Michelle Fairley, Parminder Nagra, Robert Sheehan and Ken Stott are the new season cast members.
