Skynet is Legally Active

It should be interesting to watch the number of local drug busts go up with your friendly neighborhood police department floating these drones around people's houses. Weed just got a little more dangerous.

How long before someone takes it upon themselves to shoot one of these down?

I'm curious why this thread ain't more active to be honest.

It's honestly not that much different from cops patrolling the streets in their cruisers.

Yes, it is.

These things are unmanned drones. They fly, are not on the streets. These things can be corrupted and used badly. It's an invasion of piracy. Reminds me of indie movie Eyeborgs starring Adrian Paul. But those things were pet size and human size robots on streets.

It's always "useful" till it kills off 80% of the human population.

"Invasion of PIRACY....?" ....Freudian slip?
Now we know why they're sending the drones to your house, Cap'n Jack Sparrow :yay:

skynet began when siri went online, its only a matter of time before we start seeing people or things come back in time

and clever bot. the signs have been all around us, but we've been to blind...we've been to blind to the truth.

it seemed to innocent at first. we'd sing 'don't stop believing' together, rick roll one another, but then, sh** got weird. clever bot started telling ME that I wasn't a human, that I was in fact the robot. stop challenging my perception of reality clever bot,god dammit!.

I once asked clever bot if it was watching me via webcam, it said yes.... i didn't sleep that night

How, exactly? Planes still can't see through walls.

I'm not saying this isn't a bad thing, I just think we should keep a more realistic idea of how it's bad.

I just had this conversation with clever bot

Who made you?.
My parents.
But you are a program.
I'm god, you are the program...

I dont know what's real anymore

That's the beauty of an any unmanned / automated creation over the human element. When it comes to drug raids, the general populace is on the lookout for cops in vehicles, uniformed, undercover, etc. Every form of conventional surveillance has a wedge that enterprising criminals can work around & I'm sure they'll find the same flaws in this new method, however, it's far more difficult to avoid a mechanical device designed with low visibility & nearly silent engines that can remain stationed at a given site for far longer & less conspiculously than any human being ever could. In addition, all the information is recorded & relayed seamlessly.

There's a reason Border Patrol agents have already adapted these to monitor major drug trafficking over more conventional methods & with a much higher success rate. The same of course with the military applications with bombings within Pakistan & other remote areas that conventional methods either fail, are critically flawed, or cost exponentially more to execute.

All the government needs are enough results that mirror this philosophy & drones will be even more widespread in a far greater number of agencies across this country & others, of course all feeding their respective information into a government database that's then able to compile more accurate & invasive profiles for nearly any American citizen. The best part? It's at 1/2 the price, with little to no human error, & it's all accepted from the general populace who consider any possibility that their government was capable of such a feat as ludicrous.
