I left SHH a long time ago but I still lurk this section since i've always been a die-hard smallville fan.

On black friday, Best Buy will have the following on sale:

thanks for the link cronosred, i am def going to try to go to local best buy and get 7th and 8 season sets which i dont have in my collection. 20 dollars is alot better then the 40+ each they are currently.

hmm its probably specifically just black friday, but i guess its up to the stores themselfs. I am totally going to try to at least get season 7 or 8 sets next friday. I still need them to fill my collection. Plus i was just looking at with tax and all that if i was able to get both sets it would only be $21.57 which is alot better then their regular prices of $40+.

My friend has the first four seasons, I was thinking about getting him some. He hasn't watched any of them past four, until the new season started. So he's kinda confused about some things. I haven't found them that cheap anywhere else. Amazon has them listed for 15 bucks new, though.

I myself missed out on the $9.99 deals, unfortunately, but I, too, got S8 for $19 on Amazon, along with 2001 on Blu Ray for $8.99. So, for roughly the price of a regularly-priced Blu Ray, I got a Blu Ray and a TV season. No S/H. I don't feel too bad about it.

i myself wasnt able to go to best buy on black friday either. I did ask my grandma to go to get me season 7 and 8 as an xmas gift. But i dont know if she was able to.

The local Best Buy was sold out of every copy they had of SV. But from the looks of it they had been on sale before BF because there was a $14.99 price tag under the empty space. but I took the BB BF paper to Wal Mart and priced matched and still got S8 for $9.99. I still didn't get one of the BB exclusive metal cases but I couldn't pass up S8 for $9.99. So I now have all eight seasons on dvd along with S8 on BR. I did end up having to take the first S8I bought back because it was broke. I picked it up to open it today and you could hear all kinds of broken stuff moving around. I know the S8 packaging makes a noise but this was way different. And what really bad was when I exchanged it they had 6-7 copys and three of those sounded the same way. I told them about the three broke copys and the reply I got was that they don't care about that stuff back there. And this was probaly the fourth or fifth time I've had this problem with dvds at WM.
