I guess it depends on when S10 is supposed to start. The DVDs are usually about three weeks to a month before the new season, I think.

I gotta disagree on this one. You could replace Clark with Batman and nobody would know the difference. I'm not saying it's bad because I even think it looks cool. But it just has a little too much of a Batman feel to it.

You know I never even thought of that but it does. If I'm not mistaken the Birds of Prey's Watchtower is even on the dvd cover.

That's amazingly nice! Too nice! This is the best of the lot by far.

And everything dark doesn't automatically equate to Batman.

Hot damn. That thing is just begging to be manip'd.

And I don't get the "Batman" criticisms. I mean, I do, but we have to remember that "The Blur" (and for the record, I loathe that as Clark's superhero codename) has been operating at night all season. So it shouldn't be a surprise that the DVD cover would feature Clark's gargoyle homebase.

I really like this cover, despite the fact that it does look like something more suitable for Batman. But I'm surprised they went for a full-body, solo picture. Usually they do a close-up of Clark with someone else. I would have liked to see Zod in it, but nonetheless it's a pretty cool image. And I think the black tone of the box is very fitting.

yea it is batman like, and that is issue with fighting at night and in black and all that. But its still a wicked cover.

I like the cover and it pretty much gives you a clue about the tone of season 9 but yeah, the only thing Superman related is the \S/ on his shirt. Otherwise it's very Batman-esque.

Can't you guys build a bridge & get over the Batman crap already?. If they had put clark on the DP rooftop with bright sunshine during the day & an 'S' curl on his head, you'd be complaining it's false advertisement, given the tone of Season 9, & you'd be right. You've all had a year to accept what season 9 was & yet your still havin a cry about it. Batman this, Batman that. If I hear the name batman mentioned again I'm gonna go virtual kick-ass on everyone.

Yes it does & my argument is quite valid. if this was the first time you guys had seen this suit I could understand full well your POV & I'd keep my mouth shut, but c'mon. What did you guys expect from the dvd cover art?. The season was dark. Clark was alot like batman, we've known this for like a full year now & yes the 'S' was the only identifiable thing about him until Salvation, where he actually started acting like Superman. So why continue to comment about Batman & Gargoyles & the Night sky, when you know full well that the theme of Season 9 visually has been all these thing's?. It just doesn't make sense to me. I appreciate it for looking like a nice, well made cover. I see no need to criticize it further. Do I like Neo/Batman's version of Superman? no, but I'm over it, I've had a year to do so.
