Pretty clear, which character(s), among the so many introduced over the past 10-years, do you want to see in his or her own show after the series finale? Story ideas, suggestions, opinions, and just plain-ol want-lists go here. I know Chloe's got a lot of fans, but the more obvious suggestions would be among the 'vigilantes'. I'd personally love a Green Arrow or Justice Society (set in the old days) spin-off. What do you think?

A Justice League Show With An Occasional Appearance From Tom As Superman
And Whoever They Get To Play Batman From The Show They Are Planning.

If they are going to do a spinoff the 2 characters I can see are either Ollie(with alot of DC guest stars) or Kara(assuming V doesn't get renewed)

well the first logical one would be green arrow where you can do more with speedy and also include dinah. Then another would be kara/supergirl. One that would be cool but much harder to pull off for budget and casting/scheduling would be a justice league type of show. I said it before if there was one maybe do a more brave and the bold teamup style where x hero and y hero only show up here and there. The batman thing was debunked, no way wb is going to go for a batman live action show presently when they are more interested in films for batman.

The spin-off from Smallville should be called Smallville: Legends to focus on the journeys of the rest of the DCU characters including Supergirl, Green Arrow, Black Canary, etc. Clark's journey towards Superman would be played out and there's no need for him to be there since there will be Superman reboot movies. :super:

I remember reading something about Raven by the same producers (CW). It'd be cool if they decided to keep that a part of the Smallville universe, and slowly introduce Cyborg and Impulse and who-knows-who-else to become the Teen Titans at some point.

There was this other rumour about the Blue Beetle, but I think they're going to use him (up) on Smallville.

Or just call it Justice & have it be a team up Spin Off including both JSA & JSL

If I really had my way, I'd probably go with "Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane". I'm gonna miss Erica Durance and all of her different costumes and zany hijinks.

I'd still really like to see the Blue Beetle series come to fruition.

well what I've heard about being planned are....

Batman Live
Wonder Woman (no name TV Show....yet)
Blue Beetle
Aquaman (yep there's gonna try that one again....why I dont know)

Shows that I personally would like to see.

Supergirl spin off (V despite having a strong fan base barely got its second season, so I have very little expectations for the new season, if it gets scrapped, Laura can do the show :) )

A Justice League live action show with all the characters introduced on Smallville, now remember I said the "characters"....if need be some ppl could/should be re-cast.

maybe even a Legion show, have Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl from the episode Legion come back and show them build the team up, it can even start with the time frame of when they went back to the 31 Century with Brainiac and started to re-program him into Brainiac 5 :)

You know that Batman Live is a stage show and not a television program, right?

Well right now only possible dc shows that are on deck is a ww show by david e kelly(no clue tone/setting/network), raven adaption for cw(no producers attached) and then geoff johns mentioning earlier in the year he wants to do a jaime reyes blue beetle show(alos no producers/network attached yet.). Perosnally out of these possible shows I think ww would be most likely one to hit first. Since she is a better know character already has a showrunner attached and probably further in pre production stages then the other to.

Also as great as a dc show spin off from sv would be great. I don't think it is going to happen. First we already know no spin off have happened ever for the show beyond the aquaman pilot. Second kelly/brian have already been stated to be working on a possible series for cbs for next fall. Then all the other producers like salkvin and that other guy are off on other projects. So its likely a pipedream that and future dc shows would be in sv world. Sucks I know. But once show is over any future dc live action shows are likely going to be its own thing. Like for example human target over on fox.

Very true! Durance is my all-time favorite Lois (live-action), as is most of the cast of Smallville. Rosenbaum is unquestionably the best portrayal of Lex Luthor to date, and even if Lana isn't an exact copy of her comic book counterpart, the way they detailed the character and really made her come to life will always influence me, if not any one else. And, yes, I admit. When I hear 'Clark', I'm thinking Welling. Sorry Mr. Reeve, while you'll always be Superman, it's Tom Welling who wins being Clark Kent (longer than any one else).

I haven't heard of the Aquaman rumour, but as for the WW series, didn't the Boston Legal guy say that it was way in the back and was likely not to happen? It's typical of WB to treat Diana as second rate, despite being one of the most influential characters in comics (not that DC does anything different). V really put Laura's abilities as a lead-actress in perspective. I would love to see a 'Maiden of Might'/Supergirl story that crossed over with the Legion.

I guess you're right, but that shouldn't stop us from thinking of the possibilities. After all, we musn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, right? :P

If they hadn't killed Carter off, I'd say a JSA show where they help train and work with the Watchtower crew.

And they could have occasional guest appearances by new heroes, some who need training so they could be around for a couple of episodes, to fill out the Smallville universe.

If James Marsters (who's supposed to be in his 40s) continues being a romantic interest to Laura Vandervoot (who's playing a teenaged Supergirl), then it will reek of perversion and give the super-hero genre new cause for caution. :P

Tanit Phoenix was highly considered for the role of Wonder Woman, though I hope that if they do make a series about her it's animated and that WW starts off strongly in her own movie franchise. If they do end up making a Smallville-esque WW story, like say THEMYSCIRA, I'd want it to be Bridget Regan! I'm sorry, I just do. The internet has me convinced.

James Marsters is 48 lol, while I do actually like him as "Brainiac", from the time I heard it to now, I was upset that he was chosen to play "Brainiac 5".

Get someone younger who looks similar to Marsters sure, but come on, even with just the Legion themselves, Brainy 5 is around the same age as the other Legionnaires.....Marsters does not look like Alexz Johnson, Calum Worthy or Ryan Kennedy.....he's the weird old guy in the group lol

Oh ya would be nice to have a offical spin off for the show. Heck I dreamed of it myself for yrs. But hey any live action comic book shows are cool in my book. I do hope to see more from dc and marvel in the next few yrs. Also hope said shows will be successful too. Yea also I haven't heard any rumors for another aquaman solo show attempt. Only shows in any stages of development are wonder woman, raven, and blue beetle. I still think ww is likely one to happen first. Then maybe some others down the road. I doubt we will see any other big guns dc hero in tv stage beyond ww. Since dc is finally trying to get films going for them. Like if gl is a hit flash is somewhere on deck, then aquaman is forther down the line but there has been talks of a film for awhile. Then who knows.

I personally would just love a Green Arrow spin off, he's one of my favorite additions to Smallville.

I loved GA in season 6 and that one episode in season 7, but ever since he became a regular on the show...he's been one of the more annoying characters for me. Lately he's been better but all of season 8 and most of season 9, he was too depressing.

It did get tiresome on the depress ollie at times. But still think a solo show would have probably taken him in other directions.

i liked Ollie in season 8, he felt like a strong regular there. Season 7 wasn't for him though. I like how he serves as the 'back-up' hero in the series, like those old back-up short stories behind Action Comics. But maybe I'm pushing it. Another reason why I like/hate Marsters as Brainiac is coz a teacher in my school looks exactly like him, and that guy was manipulative and a perv so yeah. :P Anyway back on topic. What with The Incredible Hulk possibly being the next big superhero live-action series on TV, DC really needs to take it up a notch.

Well as I said earlier I hope marvel and dc do some serious takes on they future live action shows. Marvel I am curious to see where hulk will go but it seems like its going to be awhile del toro recently did say probably wont happen to fall 2012 season post avengers movie(even though it likely wont be connected to movie verse) since there is alot of planning and technical things to be worked out. Right now it looks like for marvel/abc jessica jones is probably going to be first one up for marvel. Then there is still cloak and dagger been talked about for abc family.

As for dc personally I still think ww is the most likely one to go. Since they have a producer/writer/showrunner on it and working on planning stages of production. If they get right cast/crew I could see it going well. Though also counts on style of show/budget/network it airs on. Bb/raven are probably still only at idea stages and dc looking into folks to run them. But if any happen if it looks good def will check it out.

I got it! The best Smallville-spin off series would be FOURTH WORLD/The New Gods.
