Page 1 of the Cap vs DS fight. I'd like to thank mike zeck on the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite covers of all time, Cap annual # 8 as the influence on panel 1. I went with a Mcfarlane-ish look for DS and a Lee-ish look on Cap as to make sure folks knew that I didn't just swipe it(which I have been accused of), and tried to add my own flavors to it. This is an example of how I work, if I use a comic book as source material for a pose, I don't use the same style of the artist I'm borrowing from, I use one of the many in my arsenal. I have done well for these 4 pages in finding lots of non-comic book reference and use nude model and some gymnastic pictures, which is why I can't post all the reference I use, just in case of site content issues.

Nice work, as always.

Thanks Mee, I'm chugging along, but getting them done little by little.

here's page 3, I think Cap may be a little small in panel 6

Oh my god?!?! Who are you and why can you draw this great? And.......are you now, or do you aspire to do this professionally?

It's very cool. I'd love to see them inked and colored.

Far out

Always a pleasure everytime I see a thread created by you Jam. Awesome as always man.

It's drawn well enough apart from the backgrounds. But it's very easy to get lost in it. You don't establish the relationships in space well enough and I end up not knowing where people are or what they are doing. The use of the double body thing for movement is nice, but don't do it too often, it can get confusing. Your panel composition is nice, though somethings get cropped oddly.

Thanks for the compliments and the critiques, I take them all. Sequentials are very hard and if it wasn't for this book, I don't think I would be trying to do them as much, even after 100 pages, they're tough. I prefer cover/pinup stuff and give much credit to those who can stick with sequetials. Here's a peak at an old pinup

I don't think I have the patience or work ethic to do sequentials, maybe covers, but no I am not pursuing it as a career, just enjoying my own projects for now

It's very cool. I'd love to see them inked and colored.
I've been through with inking for some time now, too time consuming for me and I didn't really know what I was doing when I did.
My computer coloring is mediocre right now, so I would love to see someone play around with them, but the pencils may be too loose for many others to handle

i've been wanting to color some of your stuff for quite awhile, but the only way to do it justice would be to do a full page in color, and that's really time consuming, and i'm quite a slacker. heh. maybe some day.

Finally page 4
