SNL dumps two of it's star players(WTF)??

Ferrell was good in the show. He has some great characters. I think the show went downhill during Fallon's run
 
Yeah, it wasd damn funny in the 90's.

And, it's been pretty funny ever since the Election had rolled around.

I love SNL's Joe Biden.
 
Casey Wilson wasnt funny so thats actually good news. Michaela Watkins showed some promise though so its disappointing.

I really hope they finally hire some black women on this show. Im sick of Keenan playing all the black female roles.

Yeah true. He laughed at his jokes more than the audience would in some skits.

In the digital shorts, absolutely, but come on. I'm a fan of Watkins, clearly, and she will now be placed in the "Janeane Garofalo-gone before her time" category. It's tragic foreshadowing for the show.

Tragic foreshadowing? SNL hasn't been relevant since Ferrell left. The digital shorts are the only good thing coming out of the show.
 
SNL was relevant when Tina Fey came back to mock Sarah Palin. Those were some good skits. Nowadays I only watch the Digital Shorts on youtube. I stopped watching after Ferrell left though.
 
the election shows weren't bad. Appearances from Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Sarah Palin, John McCain on the regular shows and then the Weekend Update Thursdays with Will Ferrell as Dubya, Chris Parnell as Tom Brokaw and a cameo appearance by Bill Murray as William Murray.

If only.:csad: I wish SNL would hire Kel(Heck I think they should fire everyone and repalce them with the cast of All That, or just show All That reruns) they work better as a team.

Also star players, I've watched the show for awhile now, and never heard of these two?

they werent star members. Both were featured ones. Casey joined 2 years ago and Michaela joined in the middle of last season
 
I never found Jimmy Fallon funny . I think his schtick is to make bad jokes and then pretend he didn't write them and laugh at the same time the audience is.
 
SNL is still on the air? I thought they would taken that mess of a show off by now.
 
SNL still has some pretty decent moments in it...I watch...with hope it can return to some former glory...kind of like why I still watch the wrestling.

They were only featured cast members anyway. People will soon forget about all this and continue back to the "SNL sucks" bandwagon soon enough lol
 
SNL is still funny. You elitists from the Chase/Martin/Murphy era make me laugh :whatever:
 
I grew up with Cheri Oteri, Molly Shannon, Will Ferrell, Tracy Morgan, Horatio Sans, etc...

I did like Chris Farley, Dana Carvey, Norm McDonald, and a few more of the older ones before the above I listed.

But, now the show is terrible. Seth Meyers is a terrible head writer. He pales in comparison to Tina Fey. And, the cast members have only a few shining stars like Samberg and Hader. But, they of course have ****ed out Samberg and his occasional Digital Shorts have become saturated and not as funny.
 
Why does it even matter? I'm surprised SNL is even on anymore.
 
Kristin Wiig. She carried SNL last season and has been the breakout star and the reason why I will continue to be watching
 
I can't say I dislike any of the cast members. They've all made me laugh hysterically and also bored me till I made the ":dry:" face during the whole skit.
