SNL dumps two of it's star players(WTF)??

SNL was great during the election. They've been showing the election reruns and I still laugh at Fey as Palin!

With the state of SNL right now I wouldn't say its a bad thing that these two were let go. They can pursue projects that they would be unable to do during SNL's season.

Wilson co-wrote Bride Wars, we may think its a lame movie but she got paid and has a greater chance another studio will make a script she wrote then Fred Armisen.

I saw both of their pictures, I haven't heard of them. They dont' look like star players since I haven't seen any sketches with them that are memorable...........

So, good riddins

They were only featured cast members anyway. People will soon forget about all this and continue back to the "SNL sucks" bandwagon soon enough lol

Not really a bandwagon, just speaking the truth. Every few years I'll hear that SNL is really funny again, so I tape an episode, watch it and don't find it funny at all. The Daily Show and Colbert Report do political humor better and there are many general comedy shows that are better like The Office, It's Always Sunny, How I Met Your Mother...

I still watch SNL every week regardless if it was funny or not. I can usually find at least one skit that makes me laugh every week. Hader and Samberg are the best!

Sad to see Michaela Watkins go. Thought Angie Tempura was one of the funniest parts of last season. Casey Wilson, I watched the whole season last year, and I have no idea what she did.

I love Jenny Slate though.

Wilson was part of the hilarious Christmas dinner skit on Hugh Laurie's episode

I used to be like that. Then it was if I think the host would do a good job I would tune it and now its if I remember to TiVo it since it doesn't deserve a Season Pass.

Megan Fox/U2 open the season.
