^ I don't know. Superman didn't look like someone who felt like he was doing "the right thing." That's why that scene worked, IMHO.

While I still prefer the PZ option, Snyder pitched a scene that had him do something extreme and rare, yet still feel "in character" to Supes. That's a strong accomplishment, I think.
