The Dark Knight So Has Racheals Fate Changed?

I remember an interview a while back that Racheal was in Dk, but for how long was a mystery. Basically, her part is small, or for drama, shes killed quickly. But now with maggie (which im personally psyiched about lol) has her fate and/or screen time changed do u think?

Thie size of Rachel's role and her death have never been the subject of fact, only speculation. Her fate cannot have possibly changed because it's never been known.

Guh......we speculated that Rachel would be off'd because she was a weak character in Begins. Never have I heard any "scooper" claim she'd get off'd. It's Nolan's own character, which leads me less to believe he'd kill off his main contribution to the Bat-mythos.

If she stays alive long enough, and if we like her more in this one, which already i think most of us do w/o seeing anything, but i wouldn't be suprised if they do to rachel what they did to Chloe from Smallville. Incoroporate her into the comic book mythos.

Time will tell.

But never have we been sure she'd die.

Rachel's death was always 100% fan speculation/hopefulness. In fact, it's why I dont think it'll happen. Everyone's already guessed it years ago, there's no way it would be surprising if she died at all.

I hope Joker shoots her in the stomach with a gun after some VERY elaborate death trap after Batman saves her from it. Just shoots her right in the stomach and she dies in Batman's arms.

On one hand, I hope she gets killed, so we're rid of a superfluous character. On the other hand, I hope she doesn't get killed, because her death would weigh down the film (via Bruce/Batman), making her presence - or influence, rather - stronger.
