Myself?

-Thurs 26th April (3D)
-Thurs 10th May
-Weds 16th May
-Sat 19th May (3D)
-Sat 26th May
-Tues 12th June
-Tues 19th June
-Weds 20th June

I think it’s interesting to note that a lot of Americans including cbm fans will have gotten their fill between my 1st and 2nd visits. Viewings 3& 4 were in Portugal- they had portuguese subs, but they were small and hardly noticable after a while. Over there the film is called ‘Os Vingadores’.

All in all I gotta say it’s a fantastic movie and by far the best cbm ever. Even on my last viewing the bit were Banner utters the line- ‘I’m always angry’/ kills the flying alien with one punch and they assemble still made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

I checked the list of ‘goofs’ on imdb, and while there was quite a few, most of them were either not actual goofs, or very minor. Two which were listed inc- the Widow interrogation scene in Russia, the train you see pass was a US freight that would never run through Russia and the scene with Loki in Germany, the cars you see are US cars that would never be seen in Germany. But what the people who chalked them up as goofs don’t realize is- this is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, were the American motor and train industry could be far further reaching than it is in our universe.

There are about 5 or so goofs that do stand out to me though-

1) Thor Vs IM vs Cap- IM has been knocked 10-20m away from Thor just before he puts the hammer down. Next shot they are all lying next to each other?
2) You clearly see the A from Stark tower fall from the building, yet it’s back on the tower again in the final shot of the film.
3) Cap gets shot, has blood at the top of his stomach, then when they go to grab Loki at the end his costume looks brand new again. He must have said, ‘hang on a sec guys- I just wanna change my suit’ heheh.

I was just annoyed the third biggest film of all time was not playing in an Imax near me.
Now I just gotta book my Imax tix for Spidey and Bat-Bat.

EDIT- Just got my ticket for tonight- my eighth viewing and my locals final screening. I will have been at locals very first and very last showing. Hope I get a prize, like a goodie bag with some hulk fists, a cap mask and some cake!

I saw it 6 times in 4 different theater. 3 times in 2D, 3 times in 3D (one of those was IMAX 3D).

I've seen it 6 times, all in the same theater. First 2 times were that first weekend in the US.

We never see the A never fall from the tower. If I remember correctly when Thor and Loki start fighting it's the K (and I *think* the R) that get knocked off and the camera follows a portion of the K (which the lower portion of I could see being confused for a section of the A) as it falls

Yea I was thinkin that, but it looked more like an A to me.
Need to study that shot tonight when I see it for my eighth and final time.

5 times, each time with a different group. I still am supposed to see it with some co-workers so I'm sure there will be a sixth.

1st- April 14th IMAX 3D (Facebook Fan Advance Screening)
2nd- May 3rd 3D (Midnight Showing)
3rd- May 4th 3D
4th- May 8th 3D
5th- may 15th 2D

Five times

2x IMAX 3D, 2x regular 3D, 1x 2D

I have watched it twice now, both times in 3d, and I'm probably gonna see it again as I still have friends that haven't seen it

Only once. LOL. I did not get the plot because I did not knew that the characters were interconnected. For example Loki and Thor. I'll watch it again it is released in DVD.

It is a sequel to all of those previous movies actually. It doesn't work as a separate movie.

4 times:

1) with my GF on opening night, Subst in english
2) with my son, GF and her dauthers, in spanish
3) with two friends, Subst in english
4) with my son, on 3D in spanish

Very cool all four times!, I hope to see it a 5th time before is no longer playing,, can't wait for the DVD! :yay:

It works fine as a separate movie. To fully appreciate it, you probably should have watched a few of the other movies, but millions of people young and old were able to follow it without a problem. Tens of millions actually.
