With the recent news of casting calls for Rene Montoya, is it safe to assume that Harvey Bullock will be in TDK also?

I like to think YES and the Montoya casting only encourages this. It would be great to have those two on screen debating the actions of BAtman similar to the comics and TAS.

And my call for who would play Bullock would be James Gandolfini. Hey the Sopranos coming to an end, he'll need something to do. :oldrazz:

That doesnt sound all that bad. Its been a while since Jimmy seemed like a truely good guy.

I've got a couple suggestions other than James Gandolfini (Which I'd love as well)

John Goodman

Louis Lombardi

I like Lombardi... but I doubt Bullock is again... we got Montoya, Gordon, and Flass... how many more we need?

Man I want Boss Maroni in this as well....I say the good cops need a good fight too and who better than Maroni and his goons.

This is where I become annoying but watching what Nolan did with secondary characters he'll probably hire a thin clean-shaved ellegant actor to play Bullock.

I see what you're saying, El Payaso, sort of like what he did for Flass in 'Begins'? Casting someone who looks the total opposite.

I actually thought that guy was Bullock at first glance.

I hoe Nolan don't go that direction.

I dunno if they could use Bullock after what they did with Flass. Wouldn't Bullock just be that guy but not corrupt?

Wade Williams- Could either play Bullock or Lock-Up IMO.

John C. Reilly- Not bad of choice, but not my first pick for Bullock.

Ray Winstone- A hard-broiled, edgy Bullock.

Michael Madsen- A good pick IMO but he'd then be playing both Bob from "Sin City" and Bullock.

John Goodman- Pretty good Bullock pick if I say so myself.

John Carroll Lynch- Steve from "The Drew Carey Show." He's a bit of an unconventional choice, but I think he'd work. He can play comedy.

Lastly, Phillip Seymour Hoffman. He didn't get to play The Penguin, but he might be a good Bullock.

My God Michael Madsen. I'm completley behind that one.

I'm not a big fan of any of NinjaTurtle's picks to be honest.

And I'm sorry, but I'll never be able to look at Reilly again without going "Shake and Bake!"

Donal Logue. He's not as big as I would generally like Bullock to be, but he would still be awesome.

If not him, then Steve Schirripa.

I've said this before (many times) but I think one of the reasons Flass looks like Bullock in Batman Begins is because they are going to use Flass like Bullock. Sort of a Flass/Bullock hybrid.

I could be wrong, but... look at it this way. In the comics, Bullock was originally very crooked. He was fingered by the mob to replace James Gordon as Commissioner when Hamilton Hill (another Thorne plant) was elected Mayor.

So Bullock was a bad guy at first.

Eventually, of course, he switched sides and helped Gordon get his job back. Which is why Gordon keeps Bullock around, and because he keeps Bullock around, Bullock is now loyal to Gordon. Gordon gave him a chance to redeem himself.

I could see a similar arc happening with BB's Flass.
