people being buried there makes it less magical? just because people were buried there doesn't mean that's the only reason Stonehenge exists. if anything, people's souls and spirits possibly floating around that area makes it MORE magical in my eyes...

It's so it catches the sun in a certain way because the people who built it worshipped the sun, the real question is how they got the stones there.

Also the article said it was only one of it's uses, it basically tells us stuff we knew before, the only new information was the burials went on longer than we thought, so that article was very useless.

Has no one actually read the article, they buried ashes so I would assume not important people, we don't even know what sort of hierarchy the people had, for all we know it could of been used to scatter the ashes of dead children.

That sounds a fairly daft theory as there is no river in Britain that is anywhere near the length the stones travelled.
