So I've finally hit the wall....

After about 3 weeks of excessive partying... in which there'd be some nights I'd get home when most people headed to work... lots of booze and other mind altering substances... I woke up today thinking about the last 2 weeks.... Sunday and Tuesday being the worst nights.. as well as nearly getting into a bar brawl on Thursday.

It's Halloween.... I have many places to go and many things to do but I choose to stay home tonight... for my own health. I've finally done it... I've partied out.

For the time being at least...

Most people get burnt out on the party scene at one point or another, man. Particularly when they start to get a little older and take interest in other things that partying doesn't necessarily coincide very nicely with. It may just be a lull for you, or it may be time for bigger and better things. Either way, there's no shame in it.

i'm not bored with it.. if anything I was the one inflicting the partying on everyone else.... but today i woke up feeling like ****.... I'm gonna work on Thursday and then go home...

To make things worse... my friend connie who is visiting from LA is here for a week and last time we partied I didn't leave her apartment till 11AM the next day...

I've got to tell you though, when I've ever seen the wall approaching in the Fall, I've always tried to coordinate it so I don't hit it till after Halloween.
You have to go crazy on Halloween and then you can recover for the boring-ass brown-foods, family members and Jesus-style Holidays.

you should take a decent camera out with a large memory card, you can easily get addicted to going out just for teh random pics you collect then you can look back at them and see a 4 year span when you were practically immortal
