I made the succulent chicken which had been marinating for 48 hours at approximately 11:30pm. I always leave the chicken out for a while after it's been cooked and sliced until it cools to room temperature.
But I wasn't feeling good last night, so I took some Nyquil . . . I was passed out within moments after the chicken had been cooked. I awoke at 5am with this terrible feeling that I had forgotten to put the chicken away at which time I immediately refrigerated it . . .
My question is . . . do you think the chicken will be safe to eat?
