Seems the issue has been pretty much resolved.

I took a trip to my local comic store and what I assume is the latest issue of wolverine origins is out, in which wolvie and cap duke it out (ie not cap. smashing wolverine in a sneak attack after he was injured and exhausted after fighting the ff and x men).

All I can say is....

Thank God someone remembered that wolverine actually knows how to fight.

Cap does well, puts up a good fight, and crushes wolverines hand tendons...but like so many others, he underestimates him, and wolverine temporarily puts cap down. Then later on, the two tussle again, and wolverine has the upper hand and before he can deliver the killing blow to cap with his samurai sword, cap is saved by the x men.

Cap fans, commence *****ing and whining....now.

well, u have to understand that wolverine was burnt to the bones, and recuperated two seconds later, what chance does cap have now?

maybe we should pit wolverine against the sentry, see if he could come back from a kigillion exploding suns

Wolverine fights the Sentry and a squad of Capekillers in the last issue of the Vendetta arc.

well, i mean i want wolverine to be the first to get hit with the trikillion exploding suns.

why would he fight sentry? arent they on the same team?

horror, im not sure why they will, i just wanna see him recover from the macrotrillion exploding suns

Wolverine only started to win when Nuke stepped in. Wolverine attacked Cap well he was fighting Nuke.

Er no he didn't.....he kneed cap in the knee, and kicked him off. cap looked in agony. then when cap went to strike with the sword, wolvie ducked EASILY. cap looked like he could barely stand. Im not quite sure why wolvie just went with him though....

This took place in Wolverine: Origins? Heh.

Sentry is pro-reg, Wolverine is anti-reg/neutral.

well if thats the case capt attack wolverine when was gonna finsih nuke off

Wolverine had another presence in his mind influecning him. He was about to kill Nuke, so Cap intervened.

I just bet that if, say, Wolverine fought Cap in, say, the Captain America title, then Cap would probably win.

It's called "putting someone over" in wrestling. Guest stars are just that. Wolvie beating Cap in a Wolverine title is about as shocking as The Other sucking.

DD beat up Wolvie in Millar's run on Wolverine:o

that might be true being most writers dont let their charater lose in their own comic

Wolverine: origins is some of the worst written crap and irrelevant title ive seen in a while. If youre going to take that as an example of Cap being pwned by Wolverine thats fine. But this comic is crap.

have we brought up the stupid regenerating from nothing yet???

Constantly. Anti-wolverine fans dont stop *****ing about it, ever.

But the old bad writing excuse....I was waiting for that one. Nevermind the fact its the first time in forever someone has written wolverine as a trained fighter instead of animal.

DD didn't so much beat wolverine as get extremely lucky, but yeah.

He just fought a bunch of experienced superheroes in "Enemy of the State," followed by ninjas (who were presumably trained in martial arts) in New Avengers. What exactly constitutes a "fact" to you?

What on earth are you talking about? What's that got to do with what I said????

It happened in Wolverine: Origins for christ sake . The only thing that comic is getting right is that White Queen wears a thong when she goes to sleep.

You said it's a "fact" that this Origins issue is the first time "in forever" that someone's written Wolverine as if he had any training. He certainly seemed trained when he was systematically taking down heroes in "Enemy of the State," and it takes more than just a healing factor to take down the trained Hand ninjas. So I was wondering how it's a "fact" that Wolverine's been an animal for "forever" before this particular issue.
