So the Ratchet & Clank movie looks amazing!

Why am I the only one talking about it? I can't wait! Best game series of all time.

It does look good. My favorite video game franchise hands down is Zelda but I do like ratchet and clank a lot. I never played any of them intill crake in time and now I have the HD ps3 collection and tools of destrion need to play them more has I havnt played them much other then crake in time witch I beat a while back. One thing that I am confused about was sony annoced a ratchet and clank game for ps4 and I thought it was supposed to be a new one but I have heard people say it is going to be a remake. I never heard the world remake in sony conference at E3 about it I heard them say ratchet and clank is also coming to ps4 when they where talking about the movie. So is the game a remake or new one? I hope new one.

It's a remake/reimagining of the first R&C:

"In 2015, we have the rare (actually, for us, unprecedented) opportunity to expand Ratchet’s universe simultaneously in two forms. We’ll continue our involvement with the Ratchet & Clank feature film. And we’re excited to announce that we’re also developing a game that shares the film’s vision of Ratchet’s origin story. As featured in Sony’s press conference, the game re-imagines the original Ratchet & Clank, with updated gameplay and completely new visuals built from the ground up for the PlayStation 4".

I like the idea of it being a reboot of the first game, though if they make a sequel, i doubt they will adapt the 2nd game.

indeed. though, they could totally make a movie sequel and develop a game from that too. If they did that though, they should take some inspiration from Going Commando, that's the best game so far imo, counting the ps3 games

Insomniac Games will screen the Ratchet & Clank movie to interested fans in Los Angeles’ Century City area this Friday mid-afternoon.
In a post on the studio’s official forums, Insomniac community manager James Steven is asking Los Angeles-based fans to e-mail him if they want to attend.
At E3 last June, Sony and Insomniac announced a Ratchet & Clank remake made in the style of the movie for PlayStation 4. A first look was initially scheduled to be shared in the fall, but was delayed.
