Howdy folks!

I recently broke down and joined the tech age when I purchased a iPOD nano...and I'm totally in love with it!

With 16 GB memory I'm actually having difficulties filling it up.

Some of my favorite artists I have right now are Pete Yorn, Joe Johnson, Frank Sinatra, Norah Jones, Elliot Smith, John Legend, Miles Davis, Nick Drake among many others.

So, whats are some of your treasured items in your iPOD?

i've over a 1000 songs on mine so i couldn't list the whole thing

Cherryholmes
Brad Paisley
Josh Turner
Carrie Underwoood
George Strait
Dailey & Vincent
The Mavericks
Charlie Daniels
Hokus Pick
Audio Adrenaline
Newsboys
The Temptations
Frank Sinatra
Kansas
Foreigner
ZZ Top
Chicago

To name a few...also movies, and a few TV shows.

80GB Video iPod

1,500 songs (I pretty much put in 3 people's iPods into mine)
Dozen different podcasts (Attack of the Show, X-Play, How Things Work, The Soup)
TV Shows (Batman Beyond, Heroes, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, few episodes of Batman and Superman TAS)
Movies (Transformers)

32 GB iPod Touch

1.25 GB of Music, I felt it was silly to put all my music on it, so I did only the playlists that I listen to a lot. Pretty much just my Alternative/Punk stuff and Star Wars :o
TV Shows (Star Wars Clone Wars and select Robotech episodes)
Bunch of different Apps (Guides, games and social networking)
Movies (Empires Strikes Back, Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels and Wall-E)

Not quite.. He's asking what artists and other stuff we have on our pods. Not "What are you listening to on your iPod?"

wouldn't the artists you have on your ipod be the same ones that you're listening to on your ipod?

Don't hate...Participate! So what are some of the things you have on yours? Doesn't have to be just music.

mine's 3 years old and in it's case, never been used. i have it as a piece of art.

I don't have an ipod, just a Sansa Fuze. And it's an 8gig since I rotate stuff on there.

Right now:

Bathory
Bolt Thrower
Coroner
Death Angel
Dominici (former vocalist of Dream Theater)
Godflesh
Gorguts
James LaBrie (his 2 Mullmuzzler albums and his solo album)
Kidneythieves
Quorthon
Sigh

On my computer, it's B sides, demos and remixes of artists I like, plus some albums that I've ripped from my CDs to my computer that I've either put on my mp3 player but haven't removed, or stuff that I'm planning to put on it.

And then I got my CD collection

Raybia, i get far more kudos for carrying around a walkman with 90s minutes of music on it.

everyone wants to know what treasures i carry around with only so little music time.

the songs i buy have meanings, i don't just want them to fade into the background of my life, coming on unexpectantly, i put them on purposely if i want to listen to them.

the worst thing an artist could ever have happen to his music is to have it appear on a generic shuffle, one of thousand other faceless tracks on someone's ipod. Just forming a genre it wasn't supposed to fit into.

i keep mine as a reminder of the death of music as an individualistic piece of clarity.

80 and 120 GB? I didn't know they come with that much room. How much would something like that cost?

For the 120 GB Classic it's $250{it's actually $220 on Amazon}. There's also a 160GB model, but I don't know how much that costs.
