In the UK Vue cinemas have special 'late' showings where only people over 18 can get in ....... even if its a U/PG movie.

Thats when we go ... no screaming kids, talking teens ... just adults who sit in silence and enjoy the film.

Strangely it's during the week .
Weekend movies here are cheap in some cinemas in Holland, especially the flicks showing before 12 PM.

Still ii much prefer to watch the movies during the week because 1) it's less packed with jackasses who screw up you're viewing pleasure and 2) i'm usually a guy who needs time to kill

Either the evening they come out (which is normally between Wednesday and Friday) or a quiet Sunday morning for films that I don't need to see straightaway.

For some movies, big crowds are great to be with, like comedies.

MOSTLY Saturday afternoon...unless it's with my friend. He and I go on opening Friday/Wednesday for movies we are anticipating.


You should've seen the packed theater we had to sit in during POTC2! That makes me NOT want to go on opening day!

I mostly go on sunday afternoon, ofcourse for the big movies I try to go on the late showing on friday or saturday.
