But for stealth i'd say sam but a combination of stealth and combat then snake hands down.

Then Fisher all the way. As not only is Fisher a master and infinitely more proficient in the art of stealth, but also because he's got superior, more advanced equipment as compared to Snake's. And like I've mentioned in an earlier thread, the fact that Fisher has got a much bigger bag of tricks and a knack for consistently using the environment to his advantage (a lot moreso than Snake) doesn't help Snake look good either.

Sure, MGS was great fun, but as a stealth game, it's disappointingly inferior to Tenchu and the Thief series.

Like I said, if it's a straight head on battle then my money goes to Snake because of his incomparably superior combat skills. But if it's a sneak-fest "search and destroy" in some dark building like the threadmaker says, then anyone with half a brain who's played both series knows Fisher takes this one clean and by a long shot.

Snappy dialogue. Something Snake never had (and never will thanks to Kojima's consistently conventional Hollywood writing). In a witty exchange, Fisher would make Snake his *****. And Michael Ironside doesn't need a forced, fake voice to sound badass.
